We had an excellent experience here. The lodge is beautiful and the staff went out of their way to ensure we did not want for anything. Our driver and trackers were incredible. We were lucky enough to see the big five and even a pangolin! The rooms were very nice and the food was great. This place was an excellent value and you won't regret staying here if you find yourself looking to safari in South Africa!

We stayed for three nights and it has been a magical experience! The lodge is beautifully located near the river and just stunning. The whole staff is super friendly and caring. All wishes were read from our eyes and the food was soooo delicious! I highly recommend staying here if you want to go for a safari! We went on 6 game drives and saw all big 5 (most of them several times) and many more beautiful animals. 🦏🐃🐆🦁🐘🦓🦒 Our guides Murray and Kruger were super knowledgeable, great in tracking the animals and super considerate with the environment.

Narina Lodge is a special destination. Our stay was outstanding/ absolute fantastic!!! From the moment Qolani picked us up at the airport, Darren who welcomed us and introduce us to Patrick our own butler. Patrick was excellent, the best of the best, he made sure we always have something to eat or drink. The accommodation is fantastic and the food delicious. It was fantastic to always have healthy options at all three daily meals. Game viewing (Qolani and Isac) took us to unbelievable sightings, not only Leopard and Lion but also giraffe and telling us the detail of frogs. Learning from these team members was absolutely fantastic. They assist me to take the greatest photos…. memories for when we are at home. We cant wait to visit you again!! (Johan and Andri)

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Lion Sands Narina last 14-15 Nov 2023 and could not have picked a better place to celebrate this personal milestone! From arrival you are welcomed with the trademark South African warmth and friendliness. Ellon, Ben, Collence and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to provide me with excellent service and ensured my stay was a memorable one. The lodge was well-equipped and teeming with wildlife - I did not have to leave the premises to spot impalas, owls and even hippos! The highlight was the off-road game drives in their private reserve. I had an up-close encounter with a pride of lions and a crash of rhinos (quite rare!). 100% recommend to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime stay.
