Very nice concept which needs a few adjustments . Cons: so HOT inside. Unfortunately, it was unwearable to sleep there, which is the main purpose, right? The capsule do not have air-conditioning for each. There is only in common area. Two small vents is like not there. Mattresses should be firmer, beeping locks all night. Pron: clean shared spaces. Nice idea. Overall we were so glad that we stayed one night. Otherwise we would look for another hotel. Sorry but we can NOT recommend it. EDIT: shared space like hallway and bathroom were very clean. This is as Pron. For me no other space was required. I know it was not advertised. Should I write you at 2:30 am next time? I doubt that changing temperature outside of capsule would help anyway. Those 2 vents are not enough!!! It was not just me who complaints about it. Anyway I wish you all the best because I like the idea very much.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Lovely people, stupendous facilities. Marble bathroom, monsoon shower heads, they provide rubber sandals for shower... After visiting 46 countries, I've stayed in some very nice hotels, and this is so nicely appointed it ranks with some of the best. Netflix and Amazon Prime on the big screen in my little room. Bed soft, lot of charging outlets. Beautifil wood in the doubles.Katka keeps the whole place ckeaner than spotless. Klemen is a fantastic remote concierge/receptionist. 100m from both train and bus main stations. The rooms are wonderful. Comfy and private. The bathrooms are gorgeous. Neat and tidy. My second stay, will stay again in February. You will LOVE the Ljubjana Capsule Hotel. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I honestly didn’t mind it but my girlfriend hated it so much. Shared toilets were pretty foul after a while. All the beds have code pads which beep loudly during the night like alarm clocks constantly going off. Beep beep beep. It’s still in my head all the beeping. If someone under you gets up / arrives / leaves, you will wake up with the codes beep beep beep beep and the slamming m of the sliding doors. Anyway yeah I enjoyed it it was pretty novel as an idea but it was very very expensive for what was ultimately a morgue. There was also no communal area, no receptionist and nowhere to store our bags if you arrive early etc. no kitchen so unfortunately all our food went off. Also girlfriend wants to point out that there were no blankets and that it is horrifically expensive for what it is and not in city centre. Dirty she says too bathroom with curly black hairs everywhere. If you stay here, really get your code right as it will disturb everyone in the night when you get it wrong because it goes BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP (the code) and then BEEP BEEP if you get it strong. And then you have to repeat the code so even more beeping. The cleaning lady was LOVELY.

Expensive for a hostel - much nicer places in the city for similar price. Dirty - bathrooms were dirty, pubes everywhere. Poor facilities - no windows/ kitchen/fridge/bin/space to sit/relax/get dressed etc. I got changed in the corridor with everyone walking past me & realised I was next to a camera! (Guessing a security cam overlooking the pods but just shows how little privacy & space there is). It literally is a little pod to sleep in. No staff - no duvet or blankets provided & no receptionist or staff so we couldn't request them. Noisy - the doors to the capaules slam very loudly so we were kept up all night with people coming in & slamming their doors. No luggage hold or receptionist or anything.

We stayed for one night and it was an adventure for us that we could try it out. Very satisfied with the place, everything was clean and easy to use. It's cool that you can have your own cabinet to lock your stuff away and a safe as well. We got towels and slippers. The only thing that was disturbing a little bit that our neighbours down below were quite loud and we could hear a lot. After all it was a 10/10 experience. Would definitely recommend!!
