We overall enjoyed our 4 nights stay in hotel lodge as it was very budget friendly for the city of Paris, especially in comparison to other choices and what you get in return. For an average price of 95 euros per night you get a small yet everyday cleaned up bedroom with your own private bathroom, hot water anytime, fresh towels everyday and the most important thing a very filling breakfast buffet which maybe the same but is nonetheless exactly what you need to begin your day all full and happy. The only thing I can say needs improvement is the lack of air circulation in the rooms. As the windows are permanently shut you would expect there to be an air ventilation system . Although the vents are there they don't seem to function at all. One more thing is at checkout and after we had already payed for city taxes when we were checked in upon arrival, we were asked to pay an extra city tax that was supposedly imposed due to new years but was never mentioned of. We were never asked to pay upfront 250 euro upon arrival as a guarantee and we never met a rude staff member. Everyone was trying their best to be helpful. So great choice if you need a basic room with breakfast to start your day, within a walking distance of 650 m to metro line number 7.

The staff is sadly incredibly rude and very slow. Breakfast is alright, they are just slow with bringing out clean dishes. One morning we just ate off the trays because it was taking so long.. Rooms are also alright, could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly... Especially the shower and air vents look like it's been a while. Also doesn't have a proper hair dryer!

Room was nice and clean. Had a great view and had a modern TV with streaming options on it which was nice to be able to put a movie on and the end of the day. It was 26 degrees in the room but luckily not stuffy and the fan did just about enough to cool it. Cleaners were abit keen to clear it and came in around 9.30am even with a 12pm checkout. Luckily I had just had my shower though. Took us about 45 minutes to check-in even though the queue was short. It didnt really seem to be streamlined at all. Could have been an odd day but just was just a little hard work after a lot of travelling. Security deposit of 250 euros was taken as advertised but seemed really high for the type of hotel, just recommend you to do it on a credit card than debit. This got refunded around 12-1pm on the day after leaving. Overall it was a good enough stay.

The staff is very slow and unfriendly. The check in took forever, what is even the point of the online check in if i still have to wait forever. They also ask you for a deposit that is larger than the cost of the room so if you don't have a credit card you are screwed. I only found out about that during check in. Luckily i have a credit card but others might not be so lucky. One more thing: after my card was declined on the first try the staff accused me of trying to cancel the payment but i never pressed cancel. It worked in the second try but i was shocked at how i was treated and how they instantly assumed things.

It was a really nice experience. Pretty ok room as space. The bathroom was big enough. The most inconvenient thing - we asked for a double bed room and we got a double twin bed(two single beds stick togheter). So maybe double check that. The best was the breakfast. They have a pancake lil machine that makes little pancakes on the spot, it's on a literal roll. The strawberry jam was delicious. You have really good coffee options. And it's included in the price. At your discretion. A plus, you have China town around the block. Cleaningness was okay. 21 minutes with the metro to Châtelet center.
