from Japan:) pros: Perfect location in the old town. Easily access from Pile gate. Speedy wifi. Cleaned and cozy room. cons: Confusing check-in (necessary to call in front of the apartment and to wait for arrival of keys. In spite of telling arrival time in advance.) Uncomfortable shower (hot water become cold in short time.) Noise in late at night due to party outside and early morning due to city cleaning. Overall: Again, the location was perfect! Strongly recommended for sightseeing in old town and excursion if you do not want services like hotel.

The guest house has a great position inside the Old Town Wall and the host is really kind, however everything is too much small, from the stairs to my room that was also equiped with a noisy fridge that bothered me during the night. Moreover they ask me to pay an extra €10 fee (mandatory!) for room cleaning, but nobody comes and cleans my room during my two-days stay; finally, bath and shower soap were not provided, I find only a small bar of soap.

I read the negative reviews and would like to say that our experience was very positive. The staff were very nice. They explained the area to us and even helped us arrange to get our lost luggage back. The room was very clean but small but you must keep in mind that you are in the centre of Dubrovnik in a old town. -1 star for small room. But check out the view from your window! (2 layers of windows so stays pretty quiet)

Read emails before checking in as you will need to let them know of arrival time and need to check in just down the road. I had a mix up and missed check in (my fault) but staff were understanding. I had to wait for check in as they were expecting me hours earlier but it was no problem. Hotel is in a great location so i just grabbed a pizza and ice cream while i waited. Staff werw friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again no problem
