A cozy and friendly hotel with a few rooms. We stayed here for 2 nights. First night we had some problems with the reservation and the economy room was full. So they gave us a better room. Balcony is lovely, it was raining most of the times and it would be very good if you put some shades in there. They don’t offer breakfast. The hotel is located in a good place near traditional market and Galata bridge but the opposite side is an old neighborhood which didn’t seem so safe, but fortunately we didn’t have any issues. The economy room for our second night was very small which you can see in photos, it barely had space a bed. On room was near Halic bridge which the metro started early in the morning and the sounds of the train were annoying. The internet was very good and fast and they had wifi in every floor and even in terrace.

Stayed at Lumina for 2 nights and had such a pleasant experience! Lokman was available for any questions at any time (via Whatsapp whilst not on site) and was extremely hospitable and helpful The location was excellent, walking distance from many places such as the Egyptian Spice Bazaar and transport modes Customer service was amazing, especially as Lokman could speak fluent English it made us feel very welcome and familiar We had the Deluxe room which was very suitable for us, spacious and homely The humble exterior at first had us double back but once inside and greeted by Lokman we felt at ease and very welcomed The building has an amazing view from the terrace and breakfast was traditional and delicious Would definitely stay here again if we visit Istanbul another time! Thank you Lokman for your service and hospitality

Very bad and awful experience, everything was so wrong, its a motel not a hotel, it lies in a very obscure place no signs or anything, the place itself smells very disgusting and weird we had to buy an air freshener to cover up the smell, the bed sheets were dirty had some hairs and stains on them, the paint of the ceiling fell over our stuff and luggage, amenities were missing we had to ask for some so they can provide, we love turkey but this was the ugliest thing about our trip But to be honest Lokman tried to help whenever he could.

I had a very good experience at this hotel. Every staff member I encountered were extremely accommodating and eager to help! Thank you! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and spacious. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Walking distance to many places. Great location, 2 min walk to the bus station and metro station. Don’t let the humble exterior discourage you, it is great budget wise.
