Great service, did an upgrade to a double room for more room space to put luggage and stuff. Overall was a pleasant stay other than my balcony leading to the night market which gives off a strong food smell when windows and glass doors are opened.

We stayed for three nights in a double bed room at MACCHI HOTEL. We spent several nights in different hotels in Taipei and MACCHI HOTEL was the best of all (regarding price, location, rooms and service). The price is reasonable and below Taipeis average, the room and bathroom are big and newly renovated. The location is also nearby a night-and daymarket and next to a MRT station. To sum up, this was the best stay in Taipei and we will definitely come back again.

The rooms are well appointed, and if you’d like to add another coffee, they’re very helpful. Rooms are very clean, and the showers are heaven. They have high water pressure and the water can get as hot as you like it. That even have rainfall showers. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has a great location close to the night market and many other things. Stay here if you need a place in the area. They have multiple Wi-Fi, and the codes around the phone.

It was clean and had a laundry room. They don't touch your stuff on the bed and clean up the bathroom and take out the garbage for cleaning services and you request what you want them to do for your room. The food is complimentary and there is free drinks inside the room. The fridge is more of a cooler and doesn't really keep things cold, so I would recommend not bringing foods that need to be refrigerated.
