The staff are super fun and friendly. They always address you with your name which is cool. They are just so awesome. The traditional food night and waterfall tour were both really awesome. I like the family vibes here a lot.

Very centrally located. Even though I have stayed at other Mad Monkeys I only visited this one for my app free drink. They have a menu offering spirits and cocktails but we were told they don’t sell spirits. Why offer them on a menu if you don’t sell them. The atmosphere was quiet due to off season, good looking pool. My husband and I had a surf lesson through them. Tried to book through the app to get my 15% discount but didn’t let me. This needs looking into. It was cheap and included pickup in aircon vehicle. My husband was forgotten about at the surfing location as they only focused on the fast learners. Not a complaint about mad monkey just about the company you use. Overall I’ve never had a bad experience with mad monkey.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Checked into a dirty room, sandy bed, no towels. My expectations were low going to this place staying in a budget hostel but this placed reached a whole new level of lowness. Booked for 2 nights only, ended up staying 1 and checked out early. Check out process with a breeze!

Writing a bad review for feeling misleaded/unsafe and no response from Mad monkey. I have stayed at multiple mad monkeys and have always had a great time. I stayed in the Kuta one because of their reputable brand (or so I thought). When trying to book a 3 day tour for the next day, I was passed off to another worker who wanted to sell his tour instead of the one recommended by Madventures because he “wasn’t given the raise he deserved”. He was sketchy and trying to hide from the cameras. We had a long day of traveling and were so tired we went along with it and paid a deposit. We felt pressured to book it if we wanted to leave the next day. The next day after sleeping on it we realized we did not want to go with this worker’s random company. When the driver showed up, the worker told us “we had big problem” and we felt very uncomfortable. We ended up going with Mad monkeys recommended tour, forgoing our deposit. I wrote an email over a month ago to Mad monkey customer service as well as a follow up email. I wanted to know how they would ensure this would not happen to future guests. I have received no response. I no longer would recommend Mad monkey as a company given their lack of desire to help create a safe, scam free environment.
