Wonderful hotel hidden away from the busy inner city hustle and bustle. The infinity pool is stunning and such a lovely place to unwind and relax. Very quiet as well, not full of people. The rooms are very luxurious as well. Breakfast is A+ and so is the service here. We didn’t get a chance to use the spa or eat the upscale dinner but the regular dinner was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel. Rent a small vehicle (buggy, ATV, motorcycle) to get around as well, since this hotel is located a short drive from everywhere.

This resort is above all in luxury, service and ambience. The restaurant is amazing. Their breakfast is unmatched. The rooms are ultra modern and has all that you may desire. The shuttle service is amazing and part of their service. The staff is amazing and friendly. If I could give this place an extra star, I would.

I recently had a disheartening experience at this hotel as a Black individual. From the moment we arrived, my partner and I were subjected to fetishization and inappropriate behavior. The reception staff not only asked evasive and intimate questions about our relationship status but also made unsavory comments about our hair. We missed out on the opportunity to enjoy the highly acclaimed Michelin star experience due to our late arrival, which was caused by flight delays. We were told that the restaurant would be open by the receptionist, only to learn that they closed 30 minutes early, despite what was communicated and advertised online. Seeking guidance for alternative dining options, we were instead directed by receptionist towards a refrigerated salad or McDonald's. The hotel shuttle service failed to provide any support in transporting us to the town center, leaving us stranded. When we requested to extend our stay, we were met with incompetence. We experienced harassment from the reception staff at checkout. The only silver lining was meeting a helpful individual from Uganda who provided us with some semblance of support and warmth. It is evident that this hotel is sorely lacking in staff training to prevent discrimination and foster an inclusive environment. I urge the management to address these issues promptly. In conclusion, my experience was marred by discrimination, incompetence, and an overall lack of respect for guests' needs. I hope my feedback will prompt necessary changes for future guests.

We stayed here back in April, not long after it had opened and we were very impressed. Everything about the hotel was modern, with large rooms and pools (if you choose that option), which is much harder to find on the "caldera" side of the island. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the service in general was very good. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Absolutely lovely hotel and stay at Magma. We went in October but still had nice weather. The facilities are all quite new and well maintained. We received a complementary room upgrade with our Hyatt status, which was a nice touch by the staff. The hotel staff go to great lengths to make sure your stay is comfortable and are helpful with arranging transport or suggesting places to eat. The food at the restaurant is all quite good, though a bit expensive compared to alternatives in Fira or Oia, so we limited it to just a meal on arrival and then drinks here and there. Though, the included breakfast is absolutely fantastic, varied, and filling. Just a note, the hotel is a bit secluded, which was desired for us, but expect to get a rental car, pay for taxis, or use the provided shuttle if you want to leave the resort. The shuttle only runs to Fira and the beach club a few times a day, so you would have to plan your day around those times or arrange your own ride back. In all, would highly recommend staying at the resort, especially as a Hyatt member!
