Stayed for 2 nights in Sep 2023 Expensive for what you get in return, Excellent location however ! Ok for a day or two max. Liked · 1. Location was the only saving grace for this hotel. Right in the heart of the city within Gold Souq area, everything was in a walking distance. The Roman Theatre, Citadel and all the shops/eateries. 2. Hotel was nice n quiet despite being in a super busy area. 3. Staff, some young lads, need more experience. They were good to help with stuff but absolutely no customer service. 4. Towels/AC/Fridge etc provided 5. Wifi worked well in all areas including inside the rooms Disliked · 1. Beds were horrible. You'd sink into the floor if it could go down anymore. 2. Size of the room was horrible for the price you pay 3. Shared Bathrooms, though neat and clean, weren't functional properly. Some doors didn't lock and half the time no hotwater.

We stayed for two nights at Mamaia. We had a two person room with private bathroom. The location is awesome! You’re in the middle of the city centre, most souks and a 10 min walk from the Citadel. The female host speaks perfect english and is welcoming. For the low price however, you do have to make a compromise in room comfort. Although there’s internet in the room and facilities like a fridge and an AC. The matras was hard and the bed was held together by some extra wood pieces. The bathroom was clean, but pretty outdated. One last side note: if you have a room at the street side, prepare for honking cars till 1 am. In summary, for the price you pay, it is more than good. Especially if you’re mostly planning on discovering the city and will not be in your room a lot. If you’re looking for a bit more comfort, I would recommend paying double the amount at another hotel.

I'm used to cheap backpacking but this was just the worst place we stayed in 2 weeks of Jordan. The place is falling apart with broken doors and forniture. The worst part was the bathroom: only cold water in the broken shower with a door that don't even close all the way. The location is just on the main touristic street which was non-stop cars horning till 1 AM. The other hostels I stay in Amman were way better and the price was basically the same.
