For Kaan Sevsay and team, I wanted to write to thank you one more time for our incredible stay at MO Istanbul last week. As you know from our breakfast and site inspection, we really loved the property and especially the level of detail that can be felt everywhere – not only in the design but also in the level of service and care from all of the team members we dealt with. As we discussed over breakfast, it’s really evident that you have a very special property here, but also being part of a boutique brand that really makes sure that all it’s properties are given the high level of attention they deserve for an incredible guest experience, no matter where that is, really is priceless. I was a fan before, and I am even more so now!

Not sure how I should feel in regards to my stay. The first few hours at the hotel were actually quite pleasant yet they didn’t last for long. The amenities in the room were the bare minimum and were just tossed around, which is not really acceptable when it comes to these brand of hotels. Extremely noisy at night. The B2 was a complete maze I should say, I understand part of it is meant to hold board meetings but it shouldn’t come to a point where it interferes with actual hotel guests. Room service was quick but the presentation or food wasn’t really that impressing nor flavorful. At the end of our stay we were met with a not so fortunate event at the hotel’s main restaurant where our party of 8 had specifically asked that the food be served before a certain time. We were strictly meant to leave then since we had a flight to catch yet the food wasn’t prepped on time. The food was served at the same time everyone had stood up to leave, hopefully the food wasn’t thrown away. The only two things I enjoyed was the gym and the breakfast, the gym had its few share of equipment which I absolutely loved using. I had previously asked the spa to open earlier but I guess they overslept which was fine. The breakfast was good, great selection and I liked the overall environment. These are small details but I consider them absolutely relevant and should be taken in mind for future changes.

We had an excellent night at the Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus. We came for the Gipsy Kings evening with dinner and the Gipsy Kings show. Everything was perfect. We had a perfect room, thanks to the Fans of MO upgrade. It was beautiful and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Every staff person was extremely attentive and our every desire was met. The cocktails before the show were perfect, as was the dinner. We wished we had more room in our tummies to eat all the great food! And the Gipsy Kings were a fantastic show! We loved every minute of our stay! We will be back. (Especially since we purchased a spa package! We already returned once so far!)
