We thought this looked like a lovely hotel to spend our last night in Ireland and our anniversary. Boy were we wrong! They were hosting a wedding which had taken over the whole place. We stood in line at the bar for 20 min and couldn't get a drink. We finally found a dirty table in the restaurant to sit at and waited forever- we finally had to go to the front desk to ask them to serve us some dinner. (there is nothing else in area really to walk to ) We had no air conditioning in the room , not even a fan and could not open the very dirty windows for some air as the wedding party right below us outside was so loud. The next morning I though we could at least enjoy the view while we ate breakfast before we left. But the wait staff refused to let us sit near the windows even though the ENTIRE restaurant was empty at this time because it was reserved for the wedding party. So we sat by the bathrooms! DO not waste your money staying here.Also the path to the beach is overgrown with weeds.

Massive room with a very comfortable bed and so clean. There were varied reviews prior to our stay, but im glad we booked it. The rate for the room included a breakfast buffet that was fresh and filling. Overall; recommended

Will never go back. From the start they are under staffed. Taking 3 phone calls while I was stood waiting to book in stopping and starting cue of us waiting to be seen. Receptionist was lovely though just needed another pair of hands. Rooms are scruffy in decor with dirty carpets which have frayed around the edges and holes in the bathroom grouting and bath tub boards. Dirty windows and windows rotting. Rooms are worn and dated altogether. What you see on the website is NOT what you get at all! Do not be fooled by this They had no family rooms so we were split up fair enough but then they failed to mention a party with a disco that went on for hours of which both our rooms were on top of so both kids 7 and 8 were unable to sleep past midnight. After travelling 15 hours we needed to rest and got none of it here. This was not the best start to a vacation at all.

Besides the check in staff, which were great, it all went downhill quickly! They had a wedding which was using the hotel lobby and bar for the wedding, all of the staff were catering the wedding, we were told that we could eat in the hotel lounge but the staff in the lounge said they were over booked so they would not serve us! We went to the hotel management and asked what we were supposed to do when they were only catering to the wedding guests, we were not the only hotel guests that were complaining to the manager. They said they didn’t have the staff to handle both and the wedding had their own are which’s was a lie, the wedding was using the hotel bar as their own so there was an extra 100 people in line at the bar with one bartender . The room had no air conditioning or fans, the wedding reception was right outside of our room so they had all the lights on, room was extremely hot so couldn’t close the window for the reception noise or shut the curtain or no air and when we tried the temperature skyrocketed. So we had to try to get some sleep with all the lights on outside and the noise from the reception. We’re not impressed with the quality of service , would not recommend this place
