A receptionist had a bad attitude. Raise voice to yell at customers!! No respect for customers! Not recommended! Spending money without the respect it deserves. The housekeeping staff enter the room without knocking. Invasion of resident privacy! The person in charge didn't apologize! No manners! This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in France! The room smells bad!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

The hotel overall is great. Staff are very friendly. Bathroom if fully quipped with all you need. You will have coffee machine in your room. Ask for Philippa, he is awesome. There’s a nearby supermarket. I stayed with my husband for one night. One thing I realized here in Paris since I’m visiting for the first time, that rooms, toilets, restaurants are a bit small. It unlike of what I’m used to. It’s just the sense of the city. ✨👌🏼 I would come back again.

Amazing hotel a short walk from the Gar du Nord, which is a delight, getting off the Eurostar and walking past the cab rank. Phillipe is a consummate host, arranging literally everything for us. His insider knowledge of Paris is remarkable and he makes everyone believe that they are VIP's. Rooms are lovely; the beds are super comfortable and the showers are of top end, spa quality. Breakfast is elegant and delicious with a fantastic selection. I'm going back in 2 weeks!

I'm not sure how this is a 4-star hotel. The smell of the lobby and the first room we checked into was unbearable. We had to move rooms right away. The walls are also very thin and you can hear absolutely everything from the people beside, above, and from the street. The rooms were clean, but very small and the beds are very uncomfortable. We are very disappointed with this hotel for what we paid.

The Hotel Maxim Opera was amazing. The location, staff and breakfast exceeded our expectations. We were able to drop off our luggage early and explore the city and leave our luggage behind after we checked out to further explore. The staff was so friendly and helped make our trip enjoyable and seamless. I was so sad to leave because we had such an awesome time. We will definitely be back!
