Boasting a prime location within walking distance of both City Hall and Central Station, this hotel offers the perfect blend of accessibility and charm. The vintage design of the room exudes a unique character, complemented by the pristine cleanliness of the bathroom. While the bed proved a tad small, it did not overshadow the overall comfort of the stay. The staff's remarkable helpfulness and friendliness enhanced the welcoming atmosphere. A distinctive feature worth noting is the presence of the oldest lift in Malmo within the hotel, adding a touch of historical allure to the experience. Additionally, dining in the tunnel provided a memorable and enjoyable culinary experience, contributing to the overall charm of our stay.

I you find a room available here - do not hesitate. This is probably the nicest hotel you will ever find in Malmö. It’s locate right in city centre, very close to the main station. The oldest parts of the building are from the 14th century, the breakfast room is a cellar dating back to 1307. The hotel itself is more than 100 years old and has a unique flair. Everything is kind of old, but all is very tidy and in very good shape, the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is tasty, with eggs, waffles, cereals and a lot more. The pricing is moderate, especially if you consider central location, the unique flair and the friendly staff.

We stayed at the Tunneln for 5 nights in August and can’t say enough. The property has great history which is well presented throughout. Comfortable sized rooms and a nice breakfast spread each morning. Perfect location at walking distance to central station and old town. Very friendly and responsive hotel staff. I loved relaxing in their library and courtyard. Only thing I would recommend is to consider changing up the breakfast menu daily.
