Mdluli is a local treasure, every moment of our stay was amazing. The staff are amazing, friendly, and make you feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful and chic, with everything you could need, air conditioned offering a great respite from the heat if you visit in summer. The infinity pool is stunning and a must, the poolside cocktail are just right. The food is delicious, well prepared, beautifully presented and shows off South African flavours. The Boma evening is especially noted. One negative for us was the wine selection, we feel this could be more curated to offer better local options and include more varieties. We will happily return to enjoy the layed back luxury of Mdluli.

We have just returned from our third stay at Mdluli Safari Lodge and it hasn't lost its sparkle at all. Mdluli is just such a special place and it is complimented by the exceptional staff that Chris has. Always friendly, immaculately dressed and always eager to please. The rooms are exceptional and the food....... awesome. It is always such a special time at Mdluli and we can't wait to visit them again. Thank you for, once again, a very memorable stay to all at Mdluli, and we will see you again.

The tents are fantastic- they have fans and ac to accommodate for the hot days in the summer! The service can be slow at times, we had to ask multiple times for someone to fix the door to our tent as they did not close properly. However other times they are quick! A semi good variety of food, I wouldn’t want to stay more than 4 nights as it gets redundant. Game drives are excellent- the guides are fantastic. You don’t always see animals but this cannot be blamed on anyone, it’s simply luck of the draw. We got to see 4 of the big 5! The 6 hour drives are exhausting however they increase your chance of seeing animals!

Great location in the Kruger National Park. Lots of game drive options morning, afternoon and evening giving one different experiences. Food is good. For the price, the hotel should provide filter coffee in the rooms plus, they strangely limit the drinks options on the game drives. None of the other lodges I've ever visited limit the drinks nor the snacks. In fact, they generally lay tables with different options, but here you are given one drink and a plastic sachet with biltong. This can be improved. The rooms are tented, air-conditioned facilities that are spacious and comfortable. All round a good experience.

Absolutely Amazing!!! An absolutely beautiful lodge, beautiful tents with all the luxuries of a hotel room, we loved the outdoor shower!. Amazing staff and the view....OH THE VIEW... we had a front row seat to the African bush from the pool and our breakfast table. Elephants, Buffalo's and Zebra's walked past to the watering hole. We will definitely be back next year.
