Excellent hostel. I have stayed in other hostels in Taipei and what makes it different from the others is this place attracts a lot of backpackers that want to socialize. Common area has a lot of open space and a large table that people would congregate. Walking tours are every Sunday and midway every now and then. Highly recommend attending those and the destination changes weekly. Ginny the tour guide is amazing and previous reviews of the tours made me book this hostel. My experience was great and I believe the tours made staying here worth it.

An amazing Hostel with even more amazing people. Clean and comfortable rooms in a convenient location, the perfect place to stay if you want to socialise. The staff were the real highlight, giving everyone the opportunity to meet other guests and making us feel welcome. Thanks to them I made a lot of friends and had unforgettable experiences. Ginny was especially accommodating, taking us on tours around Taipei and ensuring we got to explore the best night markets and try heaps of food (amazing beef noodle soup nearby). Already planning a return trip after such a memorable experience!

This was the most amazing place I stayed at on my trip , I stayed at multiple hostels across multiple countries for 25 days. The location , the cleanliness and staff were all great. The main thing I want to highlight that I was most appreciative of was the tour that was provided by the hostel that was lead by Ginny and Chien, they did such great job taking us to beautiful temples and markets where I would have no idea to even check out. They did a magnificent job of explaining the history and temple etiquette to the group , plus this tour gave us a chance to mingle with other people that stayed at the hostel as well which was not provided other hostels I stayed at. I def highly recommend this hostel to anyone checking out Taipei because when I come back I will def be staying here again!

Meander Taipei Hostel is one of the cleanest hostels I have ever been. The staff tries to help you almost with everything, and you can go with every type of questions to them. The floor I am staying is only for women, which makes the bathrooms more “fun” to use for ladies:) After almost every shower, the bathroom get cleaned and I have never seen the toilets unclean. In the bathrooms, you can find hairpins, sanitary pads, Q tips and hair dryer. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town!
