The location of this hotel is very well placed. It’s not what it seems, so don’t fall for the pictures if I’m honest. It needs a bit of work done in the rooms, light fixtures hanging off the wall etc. My towels had holes and stains on them, and the alarms on the doors when they don’t shut properly are a constant annoyance. Staff as I said were really helpful, but after ordering a taxi for the airport and it arriving an hour early, I didn’t expect a staff member to let themselves into my room, without A) knocking or B) even trying to phone first. I was asleep and as someone travelling alone it terrified me. The staff member apologised and luckily I’m a very calm understanding person but that was not ok! I left a day early, I couldn’t be bothered to ask for a refund

Rooms are typical for most European locations. The location is amazing here though. You are out of the main tourist area, in a more local spot, but you are only 10 minutes walk from all of the main tourist spots. Huge thank you to Shafi at the front desk who had some of the best customer service we've ever experienced in all of Europe.

the worst and dirtiest hotel i’ve been to. technically this could pass as a hostel. our bed sheets were dirty — we were there for 5 nights and were told the sheets get changed every 2 nights.. for 5 nights i still had the same mark on my pillow confirming that these were not changed even though we had told reception. blood stains on supposed “clean” towels, CHUNKS of hair on “clean” towels, dirty marks on “clean” towels. absolutely disgusting. we asked to speak to the manager on day 3 to check out and refund the next few nights, but apparently they were “very busy” and couldn’t spare 10 mins for a conversation with us. very unprofessional. also to add, no ventilation in this room whatsoever and we have this tiny window in the top corner with a clear view of some sketchy alleyway. so disappointed and dissatisfied. never again.

The rooms are tidy and small in this hotel. A great place to stay for it’s location and ease to public transport. You are located in the historic area of Jordaan, which is beautiful and is surrounded by shops and restraints. The main city is a quick 15-20 minute walk. We had a basement room that was pleasant and it did not feel like we were on the basement. The staff here are very friendly and helpful.

3 min walk from the bus stop (bus 397 to and from the airport). You can buy tickets in the bus. We purchased tickets at a kiosk at the airport and they weren't accepted. I'm still confused how this happened, so just buy them on the bus. Restaurants and grocery store are steps away and there is laundry service just around the corner (15 euro for 4kg, about 2 full grocery bags). The room is small and very simple, but the bed was comfy and the AC worked great. The shower was also much bigger than expected (enough room for 2 😉). The water temperature would get really hot and then cold, def needs to be addressed.
