We had a wonderful stay! Great location, quiet with wonderful view. We liked our corner room on the second floor. No direct access by taxi but it’s just a short walk up the slope. Walkable to many restaurants, shops and sites. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Room quite spacious and clean. Coffee and tea available in the breakfast area whole day. Breakfast was great! Truly good variety that allowed us to enjoy and have energy for walking around Porto before lunch! Inside the room: good bed, bathroom clean. Very nice to use big glass bottle for drinking water! Recommendation: 1)adding hooks for towels inside bathroom and in the room 2)The safe is too tiny, can carry using one hand. Need a bigger, heavier size to be really usable. 3) adding USB charging outlets

Fabulous little hotel in a perfect location by the river Douro to explore Porto. Buffet breakfast was in a delightful stone walled dining area with natural interior. Free coffee 24/7 and Port on arrival...nice touch. Rooms simply decorated with toiletries provided. Staff very friendly.

Amazing hotel! Truly feels like a home and so relaxing. The hotel is in a great location right by the trolley/tram, restaurants, shops, a quick walk to the river and bridge and also lots of bus stops nearby if you don’t want to walk up the hills. Complimentary breakfast every morning was delicious and they would even make eggs by request! Hotel staff was always very kind and welcoming. Would love to visit beautiful Porto again and stay here

Located on a corner next to a must-see Church (so you can get in before the crowds easily) and with the Douro across the road this is an excellent location. Bus and tram stops outside link you to the Metro. Staff at reception were always friendly, helpful and polite and there were some nice touches to welcome you. Home-made cake available late afternoon along with tea and coffee facilities in the dining room (not in the rooms though). The rooms are modern - maybe too modern for some as the bathroom area is somewhat open (the toilet obviously isn't) but if you are sharing with a friend the mostly transparent shower cubicle may be too much! Breakfast had a good choice and they will boil/scramble eggs for you. I would definitely come back.

Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff, especially Luiz!! The location of this hotel was perfect for our trip, it was a 5min walk from the Alfandega Congress Centre, a 2min walk to the waterfront area and about 7min minutes to the start of Rue des Flores. As a bonus the tram stop is right infront of the hotel. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Great shower. Added extras include Port available in the lobby and delicious afternoon cake from 4pm. Only downside for us were the bookable breakfast slots and that breakfast only starts at 8am.
