Dealing with octopus realty has been a nightmare. It has been the worse experience I have ever had the 5 years of living in Playa del Carmen. Karla from octopus has been very rude and very unprofessional the whole time of my stay. I don't recommend apartament 404 in this building or octopus realty. They are known for robbing money. Also it's crazy how some people get charged $1,000 usd a month and some $2,500 usd a month. They will not return your deposit even if you leave it in a better condition then you received it. I really don't like to leave reviews like this but It's not ok how they are robbing so much money from people. They will make excuses and make up things they supposedly needed the money for. I even had a before and after video of how I left the place and they still refused to return my $1,000.00 USD deposit. Trust me, for what they are robbing people, you can find a way better place to stay here in Playa del Carmen. It was already enough with no hot water my whole stay and maintenance problems. I just delt with it. But this went too far with them robbing money and taking advantage. I wish I would of known the way they were, before I signed a contract with them. Also know you are not allowed to have any guest,They make a huge deal about it.

Amazing new building with an amazing ocean view from the pool! The location is also perfect, you can walk to the beach or the Quinta avenida without problem! The studio is very practical and exactly what you need for your holidays! Love it and we will be back soon!

I have stayed in many "Luxury buildings in Playa " and this is the worst period. The staff that work the door have disgusting attitudes, they dont even speak when you walk in the lobby. For it to be a secure building they are often not at the front desk and they give visitors a hard time. Also the building has a infestation of ants. I was going to purchase a condo across the street from the developer that built this building. But after seeing alot of there craftsmanship and employees I will take my money elsewhere.
