Medicare. Room smelt stale. Bathroom even staler. Some of the towels weren’t clean. Better breakfast than expected though. And staff very friendly and helpful

This hotel is so close to Gare de l'Est (3 min walk) and about 7 min walk to Gare du Nord. It was the perfect location for our 28 hour stop over in Paris as we headed from Germany to England. When we walked in we were kindly greeted. The guy who checked us in was great. My family is half French Canadian and my brother has a French Canadian name and no one can pronounce it correctly here in the states. He was beyond thrilled that the gentleman pronounced it correctly. Our rooms were ready early so we were able to check in and leave our bags. The elevator is very small. Could only fit two at a time with our luggage in tow. The hallways were narrow, but we were able to navigate them fine. We were right by the street on level one and could not really hear any noise. Maybe because we grew up in the city we tuned it out, but did not bother us at all. The following morning we checked out and we were able to leave our luggage while we explored. We had a train in the afternoon, so it worked out great. We had an overall great experience as my 3 other family members had not been to Paris or France for that matter and loved their stay at the hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Even as a solo traveller moving around the room was difficult as there was very little free space. Could only place open suitcase by the door. Room would have been better with a smaller bed. Two people in the room would struggle big time.

Really small room with what looked like a comfy bed. It was the hardest mattress ever and a lumpy pillow. Totally disappointed. Other members of our party had the same reaction. The decor was nice. Great bathroom, although tiny. They had a luggage check downstairs which was really helpful after checking out we got to go wander the streets without our luggage.

Great hotel in a great location. Only a short walking distance from Gare du Nord making it the perfect choice when travelling by international trains to/from Paris. The rooms were nicely appointed with all the necessary amenities. All the staff were very friendly, especially the receptionist at our check-in Laura, which made the stay amazing. Will definitely be staying here again when next in Paris!
