Very nice hotel and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfy beds, pillows and comforters. Clean bathrooms and great water pressure. Air conditioning worked perfectly too. The included breakfast was made to order with a choice for everyone. Thank you for a very nice stay

I stayed at this hotel period 11-13/01/24 at room 401 then moved to room 800. The staff name Dinh (?) and Chinh are very helpful. They served us with a great service and i feel really really appreciated. They also are friendly and make me feel to come back and see them again! So 5 stars for them!

As we had to leave for Ha long bay the next day, we made a reservation at Mercury for a window room quoted at vnd1,100000 for one night, four days (8 Dec 2023) before HBL tour. They said no need deposit so we confirmed. We even informed that we would only be able to check in eta 9pm as we would be coming back from Sapa.When we were on the cabin bus back from Sapa(6 hours to Hanoi), they whatsapped to say that no room available and will put us in another hotel. SUCH IRRESPONSIBLE SERVICE WHEN THE HOTEL IS near to the agency and pick up for HBL tour for next day - the very reason we booked. We decided to forgo and thankful that we are able to book a hotel near where our cabin bus alighted. Thankful our agent also allow the change of pick up from our new hotel. Just that we might need to wake up earlier for the pick up next day. All happened on 11 Dec 2023 at 8pm. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND this hotel if u have plans for tour. VERY VERY DISSATISFIED

The hotel is located in the old quarter of Hanoi, very close to Hoan Kiem lake and the old church. It is very convenient to walk around and discover the old quarter. I was there for 2 nights. They told me they upgraded my room I booked to another room on the 8th floor with windows. The elevator just reached the 6th floor and other 2 floors I had to take the stairs which was quite inconvenient if you have huge baggage or a lot of stuff to carry. The room looked old but clean. It was quite hard to open and close the door. There were 4 windows in the room with a view to the street and most of the view was the back and the side of the neighborhood houses. The room was quite big and the bed was comfortable. There was a closet in the bathroom which was full of blankets and bed sheets. The door to the closet was hard to open so I just slid it to a side a little to see what was inside. There was no closet in the room and no safe box as well. The lamps on 2 sides of the bed were broken as I tried to turn them on. The decorations of the room were cute with teddy bears near the biggest window of the room. As I looked at the ceiling, I realized the room was so old. There were 2 ACs and 2 controls on the wall. The disaster was the AC. It was like the AC was turning on and off continuously. Once it was on, it made a super loud noise at night so that I couldn't sleep. I told the receptionist the morning after the first night that the AC made a loud noise and asked her to send someone to check. Nothing was fixed so I couldn't sleep for 2 nights and I was kind of angry as I had some businesses to do in the morning. The porter was friendly and helpful. The booking I made didn't say if the breakfast was included or not. When I asked the receptionist, he told me there was no breakfast so I had some street food for breakfast instead. There was a laptop in the room without charger and it was out of battery so I couldn't turn it on

Good Hotel in the heart of the Hanoi City with all Touristy Actions in walkable distance. Have good in room facility and also staff is very warm and always smiling in nature. We didn't took the breakfast plan so can't comment on food. But if you are looking for a decent place to stay then definitely go for this place. They also have good airport transfers at Market rates and Motorbike rentals that too in same Market rates
