Best choice in Florence (and trust me I went to many hotels in this city because of a distance relationship). I spent two amazing days at this hotel with my bf and we loved it. The room was nice, warm and clean. The spa and massages were amazing. Absolutely recommend if you want to visit Florence because of the location, 2 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella station, while relaxing in a quite hotel full of privacy. The hotel has also a panoramic terrace and a swimming pool perfect for summer. And last but not least the breakfast is incredible, everything is fresh and delicious. I will totally come back.

A very nice and clean hotel with great and very helpful staff. The street looks a little quiet and desolate, but the location is brilliant. Tram line right outside (can't even hear it from your room) that takes you straight to the airport. Train station just a 5 minute walk away which we used to go to Pisa for the day (yes it's that easy). Breakfast was good. Pool area nice although this time of year water is freezing. Spa was lovely. Roof terrace a little noisy from the train station but still nice. You can see in the picture below the view at night from the roof terrace. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We have been travelling Italy for the past 3 weeks and this has been the only hotel that we’ve had a bad experience. We stayed here for 3 nights. The positives are that the hotel is well located and there is a tram stop right in front that takes you to the train station and the city centre (only 2 stops), on the opposite end it takes you to the airport. The breakfast crew are so friendly and helpful. The negatives, breakfast has a good range but the eggs and bacon are cold, it was off putting. When we arrived at the hotel well past 2pm our rooms were yet to be made. Generally this wouldn’t be a big issue but after we arrived back into our rooms on our second day we found that our room was not made. This was frustrating as we have a toddler ie dirty smelly nappies. Their excuse was that there were so many check outs that day, but we pay good money which includes this service. Hire more cleaners if you can’t get to the rooms why does our room take less precedent than the others. The reception staff were not helpful and unfriendly. I queried about the laundry service and I was dismissed and told to look at the price listing in the room despite attempting to explain there wasn’t one. Also they looked like they didn’t want to be there, after a couple of attempts of a friendly greeting and being ignored by several staff, I gave up and returned the same courtesy and ignored them. For what they charge not worth it, find somewhere else.

1. There is a round head middle aged man with beard at reception. He will look at you as if you were rubbish, talk to you with the attitude of 'I have better things to do', 'I don't want to talk to you' and ' I'm the boss here'. He is always busy doing something else when you are talking to him. You will not be noted the opening time of breakfast and spa need reservation. My Asian friends, please don't insult yourselves by checking in here. 2. There are too many mirrors in the room, making the Fengshui of the room not good. （No offence to other staffs in the hotel, they were very nice. Due to the insufficient number of samples observed, I cannot draw the conclusion that he is racist. But he was at least unfriendly to me.）
