The photos are way better than it really is. The location is 2 stations with the tram from Neustadt but in the middle of nowhere. The decoration is kind of kitsch with the fake piano, printed walls and cheap furniture. The rooms are not welcoming at all, there is no water, no shampoo or shower gel and not even a telephone to talk to the reception. The parking costs 12 euro per day. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place.

Very quirky hotel, music themed, very imaginative. Nice rooms. Good size. We were on the side of the hotel so back from the main road a bit. Didn't try breakfast. But very happy with our room. We went out for a Turkish meal just down the road towards dresden.

I booked the hotel through booking.com and asked if I could check in 1 hour early but they didn't answer. The check in itself was easy, let's say it was a kind of self check in because the receptionist is just guiding you to do it yourself. The hotel is in vintage style renovated. The room had an inner door to the next room. If you are in 2 couples then it is maybe ok but in my case that was weird even though the door was locked. There was no shelf and fridge in the room. All lights were on the walls and the room itself was quite dark. The hotel's location was not so bad, close to the end of Dresden Neustatd neighbourhood. There is no close train station but there is a tram and bus stations nearby. With tram number 7 and 8 you can reach the old and touristic part of the city and also the main train station.

*Review based on the basic room. Positive: - Staff very friendly - Hotel/rooms very pretty - Gym is ok, and has sauna as well (but they were closed at some point for maintenance) - Supermarket is 5m walking distance - Easy access to public transport - They have machine for automatic checkin and checkout Negative: - Rooms are pretty, but not functional. There is no water boiler, no refrigerator, no cabinets. The desk is uncomfortable. There is also no proper lights. I had to work after 4pm that was really hard. - I stayed in a very cold week (around -7°) and the heating in the room was not working weel (could not increase temperature). They offered me to change room,but I had already settled, so did not. - Toillet was not so clean. Visibily was ok, but you could smell some pee stuck on it as you smell from some public toilets. - There was no shampoo/conditioner (but when I asked in the reception they brought me some shampoo) - Internet is ok, but a bit slow Conclusion: would probably not stay again, as the price is incompatible with the offerings.

Noisy rooms, sound isolation is bad. Breakfast is okay. Room condition is okay. Underground Parking spot are not very convenient when two cars near each other. For that price no free drinking water on reception. there was a party in the room near by ours, when asked guy on the reception to talk to them he asked me to knock the door of the neighbour and talk to them, I told to him that my german is not perfect and this receptions responsibility to make sure that rules are followed and one guests are not disturbing others. In the end I had to move after the midnight to other, more or less okay when you are alone, but when you are with baby it's very bad. When asked them to checkout because of that a bit later because my baby scheduled got shifted they refused it.
