ROOMS are certainly terrible. Their air conditioners do not work, that they had to bring in an electric fan to ventilate the room. We had to open the window in order for the cool air to enter. No toiletries in the bathroom. There are only two sockets in that room, that you have to bring an extension cord if you have multiple devices to charge. Refrigerator does not work properly as well. Service? Also terrible. No personnel will assist you in your luggage to the room. Breakfast is always the same every morning. When we checked in, the receptionist is not competent to find our names, that our travel agent got upset when we reported the incident to her. There should also be more seats at the hotel lobby near the receptionist. Only simple chairs can be found in the locker area a bit far from the front desk. Only good factor is the location of the hotel along Myeondong area, and Myeongdong Station. Otherwise, as reviewed by others, and even by locals, this hotel does not deserve four stars, and definitely a 1 out of 5 for me, if not 0.

🇰🇷 Visited 18/12/2023 freezing cold winter Monday Afternoon. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience We are doing a short 1 night stay in this hotel before flying back. The hotel is located in a prime location near the train station and myeongdong walking street. Food and shopping 🛍️ is just doorstep away. The check in counter is located on the 3rd level. The hotel definitely required some form of improvement and maintenance works. The ground level lobby looks shabby and under maintenance. The 3rd level walkway leading to the check in counter has an empty space which looks like the breakfast area or restaurant was left dilapidated. The only thing that was commentable was the free use of the lockers. The walkway was dim and dark and the renovation looked dated. Room size was nothing to shout about.

Best is its location, next to the train station and where the Myeongdong market is. However, with several other choices of hotels around this area, better book with the others. This hotel room is very small yet smelly probably dirty carpet. The air con is centralised that means we cannot adjust the temp as we wish. I was there in November when the weather is in mild winter but their heater is too strong for me and I couldnt adjust it. Besides, I hav no window for fresh air, only fake window. I know something is off since I find a fan in my small room . That night was a terrible night ever.

Checked in today 15th Nov 2023. Horrible horrible service from this hotel, check in at 3pm.. room not ready and they decided to "upgrade" our room for free to appease us. But to our horror, room aircon isn't working at all! Called the front desk they said due to autumn all rooms have set to heater mode and ask us to open windows for cool air. BUT THE PROBLEM IS the dam windows are not able to open at all!!! And guess what they offered "electric fans". Please read this post to avoid ruining your trip in korea.

It’s a pity that this hotel is taking up space in such a prime location in Seoul. Really convenient location, right above the Myeongdong subway station and shopping district, but one of the worst hotels you could stay at. For a supposed 4-star hotel, the rooms are showing all signs of age, towels are dirty and tattered, plugs are extremely limited and in super inconvenient locations, almost no amenities whatsoever. Above all, the staff are extremely rude, dismissive, and condescending if you are not Korean or Japanese.
