My wife went here on 1/13. She rented 2 ocean front rooms, so she is writing this review. Called hotel direct to make reservations, they did not mention the Hotel was under massive renovation. I paid $344 a room it included a resort fee of $25. They waived the parking fee. I was told well we did lower the rate because of the renovation. No, you lowered the rate because it was January! The rooms smelled, not all the lights worked. The room was worn out!! We ate at the restaurant and paid $500 for dinner with a view of scaffolding! The wait staff was excellent the food was delicious. Went back for breakfast. Again, Great food and service. We rented 2 ocean front rooms, which I loved. Marriott has taken over and renovating. I am disappointed that the staff in reservations could not tell us it was under remodel.

Let me start off by saying I’m a stressed out mom that works 50 hour weeks in a full time job on top of it all! I was in town for a funeral and only wanted some peace! It was hands down the WORST stay I have ever had!! I arrived at 3pm and upon entering my room all I wanted to do was sleep after my long flight…there was a LOUD concrete drill right outside my room vibrating my head board wall, front door and shower. I called down to the front desk to immediately switch rooms but she was unhelpful and unfriendly! She told me even if she moved rooms it would be more of the same! This went on into the evening and then awoke me early the next morning and did not stop! I checked out early and told the front desk this was not pleasant she replied with an “oh sorry” and that was it!! I could not be more upset that I spent money on this stay when it was incredibly stressful and unwelcoming! They could have at least disclosed the construction aspect so I could have been somewhat prepared. Instead I got treated horribly and was unable to be comfortable in my own room!!! I took a video how loud the noise was and the shaking of my room wall, really wish I could share that! Please DO BETTER for your guest that are spending their hard warned money on your establishment! Hire front desk people that actually care about others and have empathy for your guests!!!!!!

The location is great but the hotel was dated and it going through renovations so next year it will be way better. Everyone was so nice and friendly at the hotel but like I said it was under construction so it wasn’t the best place to stay. Will be back once the renovations are complete and will get second floor or higher! The first floor it’s hard to see the waves from your room. The waves are loud so the first night throw me off because I normally like the sound of waves but I feel like these were more intense than normal
