Motel Mi Pi Chi is a charming boutique-style motel that exceeded our expectations! The rooms are not only cute but also spacious and impeccably clean. Being within walking distance of the market and small stores is a bonus. The fully-equipped common area kitchen was a pleasant surprise, and it was spotless. Our room was a highlight, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. On our first night, when we realized we left one of our passports over 7 hours away in our last lodge, a member of their team went above and beyond to explore various options to try and help us retrieve it. Outstanding service and a wonderful stay!

Walking distance to restaurants. Convenient location, generator for when blackouts happen. Good WiFi! Gorgeous rooms. I’ll definitely stay here again.

This is perfect if you’re going to be in the Melville/jhb cbd area. We needed a place to crash after a night of partying and this was so lovely! Very comfortable bed, clean linen, spacious shower. We took the courtyard room which has a cute private outdoor section. Staff is delightful too. The outside is very unassuming and modest but the inside is lovely.

I had the unfortunate predicament of needing somewhere to stay at 10PM on New Year’s eve 2020 and I was so lucky to get a late booking. I arrived after check-in yet I was kindly greeted and helped by the guard (who had been on duty) and shuffled into my room with festive warmth as we chatted about the recent lockdown. The room was very clean with a simplistic and minimalist chic. The white walls, ceiling and sheets contrasted beautifully against the exposed-brick bathroom. Its open plan design and how natural lights pours in generously from the little private patio. I really appreciated such kind service and a comfortable place to sleep in on such short notice. I really loved my short stay at Motel Mi Pi Chi and I would recommend this to anyone as affordable quality accommodation. Happy New Year!
