This resort has a commanding view of the Himalayan range (if the clouds don't block the way)! The hotel is relaxing, the grounds are beautifully manicured and the staff are friendly. The location is fairly remote (it's a 15-20 min drive from Pokhara city).

The rooms were bit muggy. They are brand new so it is releasing a lot of that smell from the paint. The rooms should be vented out more and clean air brought in. Also the resort is missing a big chi factor. They need to work on making the space bit more cozy. Plant more trees and invest in landscaping the front yard with more plants. Although the view of the mountain range is stunning.

Yet, the spa, a highlight, demanded patience due to therapist logistics. The resort's cultural immersion is notable, offering proximity to Pokhara's ancient treasures. It caters to those seeking nature's embrace, a dive into Nepal's heritage, or a simple rejuvenating escape. Mountain Glory Forest Resort and Spa, an experience beyond a stay, blends comfort, cultural charm, and impeccable service. While the spa experience demanded patience, the overall stay promises lasting memories.

Our stay at Mountain Glory Hotel had its highs and lows. The initial receptionist left a positive impression with her warm smile and escort to our room, where she explained the facilities. Unfortunately, the lack of welcome amenities was disappointing, and the unexpected closure of the pool without proper communication was frustrating. The real letdown was the manager's or receptionist's outright rude response to our 1h30 min late check-out request, showing no consideration for our circumstances. This incident truly soured our experience. On a positive note, the housekeeping team's diligent work maintained a clean and orderly room, and the F&B team's excellent service was notable. Despite highlighting the special nature of our trip as a first-time couple's getaway, there was no effort made to make it memorable. This lack of attention to detail was disheartening. While the hotel had its good moments, the overall experience was marred by inconsistent service, poor communication, and unfulfilled promises.
