Rooms are smelly due to humid of the environment, it doesn’t look ‘fresh’ as it does in the pictures. Blue looking pool is actually turned to be green and unhealthy. Coffee and juices is way below the Vietnamese standards. Open buffet breakfast ended up to a plate of what they offer to you. Staff in general wasn’t helping with difficulties we had. Only good side is beauty of surrounding which you can just visit on the day time, no need to pay for accommodation to dream of a quiet place because it’s filled up with tourists visiting the area. Plus, they have new construction going on, therefore be ready to hear lots of noise and dust.

The best place to stay in Ninh Binh! The location was fantastic and if you stay here, you get free entrance into Mua Caves. our stay was excellent and so convenient. we got a nice variety for breakfast which is included in the price. the room was spacious and had a bathtub and an extra bed! Super clean and our highlight was the lotus garden infront of our room! We had a great view of the mountains and the Mua Caves as well. The hotel itself was not crowded and we even saw some mountain goats. we took their bicycles (which come free with the hotel too) and roamed to nearby coffee shops! Great overall! Highly recommend staying here as it also accessible to other activities like Tam Coc River and cafes

Great place to stay very close to Hang Mua. I loved it to explore the resort by night with all the laterns and the ponds, beautiful! The rooms are very clean and pretty with comfy beds. Breakfast is huge and they make great pancakes fir you. In the winter there will be constructions going on so be ready to wake up at 7:00. The WiFi was very slow and often disconnected. Take care when taking a taxi outside the resort. There is a little Mafia guy in a black car who will chase away your grab driver and tell you that he is grab. He is a little cheater. You can get a cheaper taxi down the street on the left hand in an homestay (see the TAXI sign outside) while the weird guy in the black car will follow you of course ;)

Tried to leave the lodge at 11:30pm to try and get some food and go watch some sport at a bar but the gate was closed. The security guard in front told us that we cant leave even though we had rented a motorbike from the lodge so we had our own transport. We tried calling the lodge but no one picked up so basically we were stuck inside like prisoners even though we paid to stay here and could not leave. This is unacceptable. Rooms are tiny for what you are paying for. We had no hot water during the first night of our stay. Overall would not recommend a stay here as its overpriced and you do not get treated well.
