This is my second stay in the Du Lac Tunis and it has been as exceptional as the first. Firstly, I should caveat that I write from the perspective of a business traveller, not a holiday maker. Its location, whilst ideal for my business interests and access to the airport, which is a 10 minute drive away, I would not suggest that the area has much to offer for a family stay. The hotel facilities and staff are, however, second to none. The food is superb and the choice, staggering. The staff are attentive, polite and prompt to assist with even the most trivial of requests. This is no more personified than the restaurant staff. They are personable and professional in equal measure. By example, they remembered the room numbers and coffee preferences of our party of three throughout the 8 day stay, making is feel that extra bit special despite the numbers of other diners. There were never any queues, they never ran out of an option; if a choice was there at the start it was there at the end, fresh. This is a 5 star stay in every respect, and very much look forward to my return.

We are on business in Tunisia. We are guests at the Movenpick Du Lac a beautiful hotel near lake Tunis and other very fine amenities. The hotel is fantastic. It is clearly loved by those who work here and that vibe translates to those who stay here adding too a really friendly welcoming feel. The Tunisian people are caring and very hard working. They want your stay in the country to be a great one and they all go out of there way, above and beyond to make this happen. From all of the roles in the hotel bottom up to top down they care about and for you. This is an inclusive diverse hotel with activities catering for all people delivering a great experience The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. The food is awesome and so much choice. It has been a haven to chill out and relax. I have stayed here twice and my opinions have not changed. Five star hotel six star staff and ten out of ten for welcome. I will be returning soon with the family. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Recently stayed at the Hotel Du Lac for 8 days and is my 2nd visit to it. The staff at the hotel have made the experience. Their customer service, constant smiles and eagerness to engage and ensure every need is catered for is exceptional. From the restaurant staff, Noel in the Spa to the maids, all have gone out of their way to provide exceptional service.

It was a great experience at the Mövenpick Lac 1 in Tunis! The staff is very friendly, almost every wish is fulfilled. x The room was clean, but there were some stains on the wall and floor. The balcony was spacious and the view was great. Unfortunately, near my room there was always some system or fan making noise 24 hours a day... which was a bit annoying if you wanted to sleep with the window open. The location is good, close to the airport. Center is about 15 minutes away by car. Overall the stay was very nice, 1 star deduction because of the above points. The price was also ok, perhaps a bit too high if you are used to European standards. Nevertheless, I would recommend the Mövenpick to other vacationers or business travelers 😀
