To start off, the location and views are outstanding. The sights from the hotel of the mountains and grounds, are fantastic. You truly think you’re in Europe and the weather is so refreshing. It’s 68F/23C with a constant breeze; it definitely feels better than Bangkok. On the flip side of the stay, the rooms and food were substandard. With our room (Ozone Suite, 2BR), the water did not become hot and was only lukewarm, which was frustrating. Also, the electricians had to come every night to reset the room’s breaker box because we couldn’t control the lights after a certain point in the day. The electricity worked such as TV and charging but you couldn’t turn on/off your lights if you wanted to. The food was also substandard; breakfast wasn’t great because all the food seemed precooked and was not hot during serving. Room service food was not up to par either. This is a definite issue because due to the Movenpick’s remote location, there isn’t any places to order food except through the hotel. Overall, our stay did not live up to its expectations.

We booked a three bedroom four bathroom villa and we were very disappointed. The outside landscape was gorgeous and it looked good from the outside, however, the bathrooms in the villa were very dirty. To be specific, the shower glass was disgusting, moldy, and rusty. The trash can was also rusty. The pool was not the cleanest also. Paying the price we paid we expected it to be perfect but unfortunately it was not. The service was also slow we called room service for 10 minutes straight and they answered the 10th minute and their service took a long time. It was the new year however all this was not acceptable. I hope they fix their service and do some renovations because the outside is gorgeous but if they stay like this i would not recommend. Also only one restaurant and they close on new years and they make you pay for their buffet if you want food. Oh we also found a bug in the bedroom.

Great hotel with amazing view accross the golf course. Rooms are a bit old, but quite well maintaned. Location is a bit far though (probably like most hotels in Khaoyai) , if you dont have any car you're going to have to eat in the restaurant. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection, coffee was really bad though, its probably the darkest roast I've ever tasted, just pure bitterness (both the breakfast coffee and the cafe latte that I order a ala carte during afternoon time). Overall its a good place with lots of photo spots.
