We booked this hotel at least a few week in advance for our trip. We were going to take a train to Vienna, however the train was cancelled last minute and we found another train leaving later but we would arrive within check in hours. Unfortunately this train was too cancelled last minute. The next train to arrive in Vienna was not going to arrive until 3 am. I messaged the property to know my situation and they let me know I could reach out to one of their managers Marija. I was luckily able to find a flix bus what could have us arrive just before midnight. I also put a request in for a late check in between 23:00-00:00, which was approved not too long later. I messaged Marija letting her know we will not be arriving at 3 am but instead closer to midnight and apologizing for missing her calls earlier in the day (I did not realize she was calling me) the conversation was far from helpful. Marija told me I should have used common sense to know I had a hotel booking and a number from Austria is calling the was probably them, she also mentioned she waited at the apartment for my arrival and I was rude to not show up on time, lastly, she ended the conversation with “check in ends at 22:00” and when asked what I will do for the evening to sleep she stated that I could check-in in the morning. Leaving us to scour the internet to find somewhere to stay for the night. I too agree with the other review that the owner(s) are rude and unwelcoming. This is not somewhere I would recommend to anybody looking for a great trip.

While it was beautiful as an apartment, there were shortcomings that we discovered very quickly (such as: toilet paper, hand and face towels, a sponge to wash the dishes, filter coffee, shampoo, bubble bath) when we told the owner she said it was an apartment and what we want we go and buy by ourselves. The point is that many of these are absolutely necessary to stay. Pillows very thin and uncomfortable. The owner's manner rude and unwelcoming.
