We expected more based on price and stars. The staff were really friendly and tried to help, but this place needs renovation and a more realistic description of the rooms and hotel amenities. Even during the high season, there were areas in the hotel that were not open, like the bar. The rooms need better AC units. The wifi connection is tricky, and you may not get good connection in some areas/rooms. Most of the rooms don't have a window, which makes them very humid. Expect real cave experience, as the names suggest. Most rooms don't have a view even though the website pictures suggest that. The breakfast was good as it was made fresh daily to order. The pool is very small but would do the trick.

Don’t trust the pictures of this place!!! We booked a senior suite which states that you get a PRIVATE indoor and outdoor pool “where guests can enjoy the fantastic Santorini caldera views from their own outdoor heated plunge pool!” This is an absolute misleading information (senior suites got no caldera view). Also, the private outdoor plunge pool is in common pool area which absolutely gives zero privacy! Don’t stay here If you’re looking for a luxurious stay with some privacy. Absolute waste of time and money!

Positive is the room with an indoor Jacuzzi. The room is big. The view from the public pool is nice as well. Breakfast was delicious and the service guy (male) was friendly. This are all the positive things of this location. For the high room rate, one could expect basics such as cometic towels, free drinking water in the room or quiet room (by late evening we could hear the staff talking at the pool bar). But most disappointing for us were the staff in general. Staff sitting at the pool bar and listening to some videos on their phone (both days) or lying on the “sofa” in the breakfast area and playing with their phone. I also observed an other employe (female) eating at the pool bar while other guests were having breakfast. So sad to say, but we can not recommend this location, mainly because of the above mentioned staff which, in my opinion, have a lack of hospitality knowledge. This location is not worth the high price they charge.

Probably the best thing about this hotel is their staff, very nice and friendly! But I didn’t like the rooms, even if they are called executive suites there are NO windows or AC which makes them gloomy and damp. There is no buffet for breakfast and you order based on a list which is limited. I liked them because they were made freshly. I’ll try another hotel next time.

This was absolutely THE place to stay! All staff were kind, respectful and helpful… The views were breath taking and service was impeccable… The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated and cool… Pool was easy to access and the bar was very well placed right next to it and that’s a win! It’s perfectly situated near restaurants which are just a walk away… and again, the view!! Highly, highly recommend and I definitely will be back!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
