The hotel was fabulous…. Location great and the staff seem very helpful…. However the soundproofing between the walls is shockingly poor… especially since Americans feel the need to shout when they speak… woken up at midnight after a long day out - so loud it felt like they were standing directly outside my room…. And i couldn’t call reception as my internal phone didn’t work 🤷🏼‍♀️🤬

Had a great experience during our stay at Nautilus Sonesta. Rooms are good , location wise it's perfect and all the amenities and common areas are really good. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a good time. Special shout out to Alexis for helping us on-board and the cleaning team for the great job over the last few days. Thanks !

We want to give a special shout out to Edwin who was our server at the restaurant. We were extremely pleased with his service and friendliness. My family and I really appreciate his kindness and attention to detail in taking care of our needs. Edwin we miss you! The hotel was well kept, smelled nice and the front desk Staff were top notch too. If there was improvements to suggest I'd say brighter hallway lighting, stronger shower water pressure and more toiletries such as towels and toilet paper. Overall the experience was wonderful. The beach was stunning and the pool was pristine. Our family enjoyed our stay. Le Anne and Monica

Location is good, centrally located. Stayed In a queen suite - beds were ok, pullout couch was very old and unfortunately very uncomfortable. Washroom is the the tiniest you'll ever see and it's quite difficult to manage as there's no vanity space or anything except for 1 hook. The washroom door also did not close properly and is frosted glass just fyi. No drawer space for clothes really just 1 gigantic ridiculous armoire for coffee and minibar things. Closet had tiny section cubbies but not enough room for 3 ppl sharing a room. Hotel pool is not heated and was never cleaned even when I asked several times as there was debris and leaves floating in the water. Aside from the pool attendants, front desk staff were dismal and unfriendly. I was billed double and in excess, it took much of my vacation + 2 weeks to have this headache sorted out! Restaurant buffet is good but they have the sane thing every day. smoked salmon, bagels,oatmeal, etc . Resto staff were nice. This hotel is going to be torn down and rebuilt as a lux St James property in 2025 and the current state of the hotel and daily fare as was evident by lack of attention in cleaning the pool and rooms and lack of respect towards guests staying at the hotel is obvious. Front desk staff were always cold, unfriendly, and gave lots of attitude for no reason. I had to ask 4 times over my stay to have the rooms cleaned and they insisted it would be done. Hours later, when I returned, it still wasn't cleaned. Melody was nice to help sort out my billing issues, but it really shouldn't have happened in the first place. Nicely connected to the beach by a short walk, didn't use the bikes as it was raining for part of our stay. Has potential.

First of all, shout out to all the staff! Alexis was great and very accomodating. Staff at the front greeting you, the pool, bar, housekeeping, and by the beach were very hospitalible! The place is decent, it isn't amazing BUT they are definitely trying their best to provide vistors the best experience! Updated lobby and scenery from their dining to the pool is pretty good. I enjoyed the gift of champagne with my friend from Alexis and made my birthday stay great! Rooms -decent size, we got the 2 queen bedroom -no microwave in the room, a small fridge was available BUT beyond stocked with their goodies, no room for snacks I wanted stocked up, or left overs, so that is the main reason why I rated it a 4 stars. -housekeeping was always cleaning the room and tyding our bed. They emptied the trash really well and always gave us clean towels! Dining -i didn't try so I can't say but plenty of guest were dining so it must be good. It did smell good! Pool -it is between small and medium size, there is a small pool available for kids. The pool is heated so that was great for the cooler afternoons/evenings. By the beach -padded beach chairs were available that staff set up in the morning. Really close to the beach so you really get the experience of relaxing. If you are boogie then go ahead and rent their queen size like bed/chairs! It has a bigger shade, you can also ask for extra beach chairs and umbrella!
