From the beginning I knew we were in good hands. Maria sent a detailed list of restaurants and cafés and also went to the trouble of making reservations for us. When our original flight was canceled and we arrived after 24:00, Maria stayed up for us and received us gracefully. We couldn’t think of a better host - she was really looking after us. The apartment itself was spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. It may have been the cleanest I ever experienced! The AC was very effective and not too loud. We had some noise from the renovation works next door but these things happen. Overall, we had a great stay and are happy to return! And did I mention that the price was moderate and the location excellent?

I stayed at this B & B on a friend's recommendation. I loved my experience there. Maria was a graceful welcoming host. She has impeccable tastes as reflected in her accommodations as well as the breakfast serving. She was very helpful in helping us plan a great Bologna experience. The B & B location is perfect, a few minutes walk to most sights in bologna. The facility as well as the host exceeded our expectations. This was truly a memorable stay!

Bologna nel Cuore is magnificent! My partner and I stayed for three nights in the Topazio apartment in late September.We arrived by train after spending a week in Padua. We usually stay in hotels when we travel but decided to stay in bed and breakfast accommodations for this trip to Italy. Maria, our hostess, was very gracious and most helpful. She greeted us at the front door within a few minutes of our arrival by taxi. Taking the taxi from the train station was quick and easy. Maria took us to our apartment and gave us all the details we needed to make our stay comfortable. The Topazio is a bright, spacious ,airy apartment decorated with hip, chic and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked so you can enjoy morning coffee or cook a meal using the ingredients purchased at nearby markets and shops.The bedroom has excellent space to organize and store your clothing.The bed is very comfortable with lovely bed linens and pillows.The bathroom is very well appointed with large shower, double sink with plenty of space for your toiletries. There is a hair dryer . Just in case you forget a few things Maria has kindly provided a few items in the cabinet. I was delighted to find my favorite hairspray . There is a clothes washer with a dryer rack which was so convenient and easy to use.We were able to control the room temperature by opening the windows or turning on the air conditioner. WiFi was strong and consistent. My only regret is that we were only in Bologna for a few days. Maria is passionate about her city which she encourages you to enjoy and explore by recommending restaurants, places to visit. We enjoyed our stimulating, timely and informative conversations with Maria. We would stay again and will highly recommend Bologna nel Cuore to our friends . Thank you , Maria, for making our visit to Bologna so memorable!
