I enjoyed my stay here very much. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are clean, and everything works. It's in a good location. Right next to the market and pub street. 1 minute walk from the river.

Great location in center of block. Off the busy streets but close to river and market and Pub Street and loads of good dining. Nice touches include great hot shower, tea kettle for coffee water and AC. Also power not switched off by taking room key so room can stay cool. Good friendly service. Very reasonable prices. Some rooms have small balcony.

I wish they would update their ancient air con units. Cold for 5 minutes and then the compressor turns off for 15 mins. This repeats until the room is somewhat cool but not as cool as I’d like. Very humid because lack of good air con. This hotel has some soul and good atmosphere for a local hotel. Restaurants next door. Bottom ground floor you can hear the clatter of the restaurants next door. Doors and windows do not seal so you hear everything outside at the ground floor. Tv is old and doesn’t work. Mosquitos everywhere. But I do like that they offer electric kettle coffee and creamer. I wish I can leave the ac on when I leave to come back to a cold room because it takes hours to achieve a cool room. Overall good price and good location. But just wish they’d fix the a/c!
