Please ignore some other reviews about high prices and tricking customers. We had a selection of small plates to start, which were really good. They brought us a selection of whole, fresh fish, along with a pair of scales and the menu stated the price per Kg of each fish. We selected a large sea bass between two of us and asked for it to be grilled. It was done just right and we had a nice bottle of Turkish Chardonnay to wash it down with..I was just sad that there were so few people there at 9 pm on a Friday.

During my visit to the Galata Fish House, I experience good customer service: employees are very helpful and kind assisting me toward Vegan options. The location is nice at night. Be mindful: I don't recall seeing a rule against smoking in the area and recall people smoking cigarettes indoors: I don't like the smell of cigarette smoke especially within an area I'm dining-in. Otherwise, the restaurant's interior design is decent! The Mantar Güveç/Mushroom Caserole is really tasty: I enjoy every bite, and the sauce makes the meal like a very flavorful soup which I like eating better hot. The meal is very filling by itself. I order spaghetti 🍝 as well. I really like eating the bread with Olive Oil: I almost fill myself from eating just the bread and Olive Oil. I like adding a bit of spiciness to my meal options which I feel taste better with the bread (each bite with or without Olive Oil). I recommend carrying cash on hand so as to not run into any money exchange or other potential payment issues. Additionally, ensure to remind any employee helping about ensuring one's consumption option(s) is/are Vegan ready!

These are big crooks and tricksters . Cannot believe we were duped to pay 7300 lira for one fish weighing 1.4kg and 4 pieces of Shrimps. Beware and ask for the price before ordering

I came to this place on my last day, was so special! 100 years of Turkish independence, beautiful sunset, i drink, eat, and had an amazing conversation. I feel so grateful for being in this place right now. I would not say service because they now became my real friends, and I can’t wait to be back here to sit with them again and appreciate this little moments! I hight recommend this place when you come to Istambul, please sit here and enjoy yourself! Afiyet olsun!!
