Lovely stay with the family over Christmas at New World Phu Quoc Resort. The complex is vast and spacious as are the villas. Loved how much room there was, and it was an experience in the outdoor shower at night under the moon! Everything was clean and well maintained, staff were friendly and welcoming. Food, especially for kids, was great. Plenty of variety at breakfast. There's also a lovely Vietnamese BBQ restaurant just outside the main entrance, or plenty of restaurants/bars along the beach if you want a change from resort food. The pool is massive, albeit slightly colder when we visited due to high winds. We spent most of the time at the beach where there's plenty to do (sports, borrow buckets/spades). You can also hire a bike for free to ride around the resort, and there's the usual gym/spa amenities. Highly recommended! For more info about our Vietnam trip, please visit 'ABC Dad' blog.

A beautiful place with rules that are incomprehensible to Europeans A huge resort, beautifully laid out, a nice beach but... the whole thing is fenced with a high fence, it's hard to go out to get to know a little about Vietnam. The ban on bringing your own food and drinks and the sky-high prices on site make you feel like you're in a golden cage. Dear management, incentives, not prohibitions, make people want to use your services.

Came here with a group of 7 of us. For a 4 bedroom, each w private en suite bathroom and a private pool with kitchen it was 5 star and only about $60pp per night! You don’t need to leave often as this resort has everything. Pool was amazing if you wanted more space. It was so windy it was hard to enjoy the beach but if the weather is nice they have 3 hammocks which is top notch in my book!! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and there’s a nice fitness area.

Highly satisfied. Staffs in reception were able to communicate in simple English. The room, private pool and the outside pool were clean and well managed. We had lovely stay, a good rest. On the day of checkout, staff named Cuong assisted us with comfort and professionalism. He was especially very fluent in English. If we ever get to visit Phu Quoc again, we will stay in New World Resort.

I stayed in room 858 from January 26-28. I was very impressed with the warm welcome and service from the staff. I had the best time with my family. All the scenery in front of me was so beautiful. The room facilities were excellent. I also appreciated the garden maintenance every morning. I was happy throughout my stay. Especially, I would like to thank Thao (Ms.) and Toan (Mr.) for answering my questions via email before the trip. They were very accommodating and made sure I got the best service possible. Be always healthy and happy.^^
