Very good location by the Douro river. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained. The breakfast has a good variety of options. The staff is helpful and attentive. One thing to improve is the punctuality of the bar’s opening times: they closed 30 minutes before the announced time on a weekday.

Really nice hotel by the river. The hotel is modern and the rooms are spacious and clean. Hugo at reception was very polite and accommodating. Outside of the season you can get the rooms at a good price.

From start to finish my booking was easy and reliable. Easy to get to wherever you are arriving from with bus and tram stops close by. Within walking distance along the Douro River to Porto. Great views across the River too from the bar. On checking in the reception was welcoming and gave all the information I needed. I booked a basic/classic room but it was lovely and had everything I needed. Gorgeous decor! I received complimentary biscuits on arrival as i was slightly early for my room. I also recived complimentary pastel de nata with a little note which I thought was a thoughtful touch. I used the 24/7 gym daily. Which had more amenities than a few hotel gyms I've been in which was helpful. The bar on an evening was nice and chilled. Very relaxing to wind down froma day of walking. Huge bonus of this hotel us that it's eco friendly.

The hotel is excellent overall, but the fitness center leaves much to be desired. It's a stretch to call it a "gym" when there isn't even a bike available! With only four outdated machines (among which a malfunctioning treadmill) and a few dumbbells, it doesn't qualify as a proper fitness center. The absence of a bench makes the dumbbells almost useless. Additionally, there's no water fountain, and the lights switch off when there's no movement, leading to exercising in the dark, such as planking. However, if the gym isn't a priority for you, this hotel is otherwise fantastic: it boasts a convenient location, pristine rooms, a highly professional staff, and a delightful breakfast. But if you're looking to exercise, pack your running shoes and enjoy a jog alongside the river instead!
