exceptional staff. Elisabeth, Katerina and Vasilis are uniquely kind and friendly. Sublime restaurant, but unfortunately we had to leave the hotel due to an inconvenience with the rooms. We found red ants and centipedes on the sheets that stung us. After the inconvenience, we asked to change our sheets. They made our bed, but she didn't change anything. We changed rooms and were offered the only room available after 2 days of inconvenience. At least 40 square meters less than the one we had booked. Very little care of the rooms. Our dirty coffee cups remained in the room for 5 days. soaps were not replenished. This must not happen in a 5 star hotel with a room paid more than €700 I'm leaving this review because it seems right to warn people like me who are afraid of insects or may be allergic to insect bites.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon, and it was our favourite stays we’ve ever had. From start to finish it was a great experience. The property itself is gorgeous. Super high end toiletries were a treat. We specifically booked it because of the amazing views of the sunset. If you want to avoid the crowds in Oia and watch the sunset from your own pool, this is THE place. There’s a great hiking path right into Oia, which isn’t too difficult, but it can get tiring on the way back in the sun, but the walk on the main road is incredibly quick and easy. But of course, the best way to get around Santorini is on a quad or scooter, which the front desk can easily arrange for you. The staff was unbelievable. They truly made the our stay exceptional. Some of the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced!! We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, and we will absolutely be back!

What an experience! Nimbus was the first place we stayed at during our 10 days trip in Greece, and it was also the best one! We felt welcome right away by the whole team that gave us an amazing service! The food was great, the terrasse is breath taking, we would go back any day! Thanks again to the whole Nimbus team that made this stay magical!

I rarely write positive reviews but I also rarely have experiences this positive. Okay so the room is amazing, no surprise there. Our outdoor area was pretty private, maybe one of the few that is. A completely private outdoor area is rare in Greece. The views are freakin unbelievable. We had friends visit and they didn’t want to leave. We ate several meals at the restaurant. The food was so incredible!! I can’t believe our best meals were at our hotel. The complimentary breakfast was unbelievable. A ton of amazing food, made by an incredible staff. Sure it’s far from the center but I prefer that. ATVs are cheap and there’s a trail that’s not TOO far. Now the staff.. I’ve never made such a connection. The front desk was so helpful. Constantly communicating with me about private tours and answering questions constantly. The restaurant staff was our favorite part. Katarina was an amazing person. So lovely and kind, we’ll honestly return just to see her again. Her partner was the chef. Such a kind group of people. We got back a few weeks ago but I was determined to write this review. A wonderful secluded spot. Why travel into the busy city when you can hang out at this amazing hotel. We’d travel in at night when things died down and cooled off. My only complaint was that our room was under the kitchen (I think) so we’d hear them preparing. Once I realized it was the staff I slept soundly.

We stayed in The Nimbus for one night. We instantly got the feeling that the hotel was once something special but it is now very tired; exposed plaster marks on walls that should be painted, old towels and bath robes that you would never want to put on your body. We were so disappointed we asked instantly if it was possible for a refund and we would find another hotel but we were told no. The view is nice if you over look the building site of another hotel just below The Nimbus, thankfully no work was being done the day/night we stayed. Staff are friendly , you get the impression they are working with what they have but we didn’t appreciate going to the bar to order drinks to take to our room being told by a waitress “I’ll bring them to your room” then trying to charge us almost 10 euros for the service (I was at the bar and would have carried the drinks the 10 metres to our room). They did remove the charge when I challenged it. The breakfast was not good, we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip before we had even received our food, needless to say we didn’t leave a tip; the scrambled eggs and avocado were grey and wet , the orange juice tasted rancid like it had been squeezed days ago. Overall it was not a great experience
