Not value the price at all! We stayed two days. The second day when we came back to the room at night. The housekeeper didn’t add toilet paper, no tissue, no floor towel change. I called the reception 3 times within 30 minutes to ask the toilet paper. The lady said she doesn’t know how long the toilet paper can be sent to my room. At last she asked me downstairs to her to take one roll of toilet paper. The service is really bad. And the restroom window cannot close completely. It can be open from outs.

Horrible experience! Please DON"T go there! Only Location is Good; But all others are terrible! 1. Staff friendless : rude, unkind, alway say "No" or "can't" whenever I would like to ask, even I would like to ask to be indoor voice in the middle of night (12:45am) when I woke up cause of loud voice between staffs and customers kept talking 2. Room condition: can't image it! All construction are everywhere! Paint smell, all dust, construction parts are everywhere! 3. Room Service: Don't call to get missing towel or soap. you won't get them within 45 mins...sometimes they forgot your calling. I don't understand some customers gave them 5/5 for this hotel! WOW! amazing!

Given that the hotel is undergoing renovation, I was surprised it was open for business despite the harsh and shabby conditions one has to endure to get to their assigned renovated room. Hotel seems lacking in security and anyone can enter late at night and use the elevator to access the narrow corridors leading to guest rooms, without being stopped! Also, one evening I saw a mouse running in my corridor! Safe deposit box in the room was out of service and when I asked the receptionist (for the second time) she was indifferent and said they were waiting for all safe deposit boxes in the hotel to be replaced and that it’s much safer to carry my passport and other belongings in my pocket wherever I go in Paris (which is what I ended up doing). Breakfast buffet is reasonable and OK actually. There is no one to help with the luggage checking-in or checking out, and with the impractical and steep steps in my corridor, that turned out to be s nightmare (luckily I had friends to help). I also discovered the AC in the room is master-set to heater mode only and there is nothing I can do to make it cooler coz the room was warm, other than opening the windows. Construction works in the hotel were noisy occasionally. Room was of good size and minibar was well equipped. However I didn’t like the furniture mix (old classic with modern furniture - all in the same room); bathroom was OK but there were no means to place soap, shampoo, etc, inside the shower (probably they will install a tray in the future once the renovation was over). Hotel is in a great location and staff were generally nice (some at least) but would I stay there again?! Hell NO!

The location is great as most attractions are nearby. Artistic interior near lobby area which is quite cool. Hotel room section/area is newly renovated which is good but you have walk passed a section of dusty ongoing renovation near the guest lift area. Room service wasn’t great as I had a used water bottle left on the table and no new bottles of water replaced on the next day. Upon return home, there was a charge (lucky small amount) on my credit card without any notification or description of charge . Perhaps it would be nice to be informed of what was charged as nothing was mentioned when I was checking out..was a nice stay but not great experience.

The location of the hotel is excellent for my need, but the hotel refused to provide any partial refund after not having hot water for three of the 7 days I stayed there. That was highly unprofessional and basically poor business practice. On top of the hot-water issue, there was loud noise from rampant interior construction, which started promptly at 8AM each day. Of course, there was no mentioning of the construction in the description to warn me. I would've stayed away if I had known.
