It's a very lovely hotel with everything you need. It was very comfortable to stay. Friendly helpful staff. Easy location to 2 train stations and bus stops. Beautiful green avenues and surrounding heritage buildings. Right across the road from a great hawker market. Plenty of surrounding restaurants and cafes.

My sister found and booked this hotel for our travel to SG. Was a bit skeptical seeing only three reviews and all of them written in over 8-9 years. Even the taxi driver remarked snidely "Why not the big hotels, did your company pay for your accommodation?" Walking into the hotel in trepidation, we were welcomed with the freshest fragrance of white flowers. It's an older building that has been renovated. Our room had a balcony. We didn’t have the luxury to hang out there as we were out all day and too exhausted at night. The bathroom is nice. The bed super comfortable, the linen clean and crisp. Bus stops are within walking distance. The train station just one bus stop away. Tiong Bahru market and 7-11 are literally just a few steps from the hotel. Service was friendly.

This hotel is just wonderful!!! Friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are so clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing.. honestly I couldn’t have asked for more. Exactly what was needed after a long flight and then 4 busy days. Thank you so much!!!

I travelled for work. The room was spacious enough, and had a dedicated desk. The hotel is aged, but is well run. The staff is very accomodating, and the service is good. The hotel has a small outdoor pool on the third floor. There is no breakfast, but the hotel has an appointment with a nearby café, and Tiong Bahru Bakery (1 minute walk) serves excellent breakfast and coffee.
