We had the pleasure of staying at Oh la la ! Hotel in November 2023, and despite the rainy weather, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location is a definite highlight, situated right at the entrance of the Bastille metro station, which conveniently connects to several metro lines. Additionally, many wonderful attractions like Le Marais and other hotspots are within walking distance, allowing us to explore the city with ease. Our room was not only comfortable but also charming, and we didn't mind the climb up the four flights of stairs to reach it. In fact, the view from our room overlooking the street leading to Bastille was nothing short of magical. Overall, our stay at Oh la la hotel was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the friendly staff, excellent location, and delightful accommodations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay while exploring the beautiful city of Paris. We can't wait to return for another visit!

Fantastic little hotel conveniently located directly opposite the Rue de la Roquette exit to the Metro and on multiple bus routes. No lift, but staff kindly took our luggage up for us. I booked a twin room with a courtyard view because I was worried about street noise at night, but I needn't have been. The room was stylish, spacious, clean and very comfortable, with L'Occitane toiletries and best of all, A/C! It was pure joy to return to a cool room and a made bed (daily maid service, towels changed every other day) after a long day of sightseeing and we slept so soundly, despite the heatwave, with the windows firmly shut and the blackout curtains drawn. I also liked that our room had a proper sized sink, so many hotel rooms now have really small sinks. There's a good breakfast available for €12 per person (my daughter loved the automatic pancake machine, I liked the make-your-own boiled eggs.) I would have preferred it if they served a few small plates or nibbles in the evening too, and I would probably have actually used the free drinks tokens they give hotel residents. As it was, we didn't visit the downstairs bar area except for breakfast, although it did look nice. We go to Paris fairly often and have never stayed in the same place twice, but I would come back here again, it's a real gem!

Lovely room for 3 on the fifth floor with view on la Bastille. The stay in that special room is worth every cent even without lift. The receptionist helped with luggage. The room has a nice small working corner and a hairdryer. Comfortable and calm. Breakfast is okay. The subway exit is right there in front of the hotel. Funny trompe l’oeil bookcase as stairs door which gives a pleasant welcoming. Highly recommended ice cream place as a neighbour. Perfect hotel to discover the 11th arrondissement, a canal saint martin boat tour and the Victor Hugo house.
