DON'T stay at this guest house, it's very dirty and unclean. The rooms are gloomy and very small. When we arrived the bedsheets were wet with stains on it, I literally had to sleep with clothes as we arrived late and had to stay somewhere for the night. With just 5-10$ budget increase you can stay in way better hotels/guest houses than this guest house.

We spent there 2 nights and definitely recommend this hotel. The location is really good and we didn't hear any noise of the city from our room. Really nice beds and good air conditioner. Breakfast is simple but correct and they kept our luggage for the day after the ckeck out so we could have a walk.

Tucked in a small alley beside a busy market Street. A lady is handling the whole operation signor handedly. She was polite. But at many times she wasn't available at the desk so you didn't have any service available. She served us a very good breakfast. Which was also made by her. The room was quite spacious.

I had booked my accommodation in the month of November through agoda and had done advance payment for the stay at Old Town Guest House for the last week of December for 3 days. When i reached the place first there was a staff who didn't have any idea about the booking and also didn't know english so it was difficult to communicate with her. Then another lady came who knew english and told that she had all her rooms booked and blamed agoda for overbooking her place. Then she offered us another place of stay which was non-comparable to the room we had booked and paid for which we rejected. Then she asked us to cancel our booking so that she could just wash her hands off from the commitment. I was totally shocked by the behavior and non-commitment of the property staff, I told her we were travelling with infants and it was difficult for us to roam around and find another place. But she dint even care for the matter and continued forcing us to cancel the booking. Finally we had to carry our luggage and move out and find another place on ourself. The truth was that while i had booked the place of stay about 3 weeks back the actual date of stay, the place was cheaper but as the demand increased, the stay price shot up and the owner blindly without considering the booking let out the place to another guest. This questions the credibility of the booking site 'Agoda' and the property. I will never recommend this place to anyone unless you would want to pay before hand and end up roaming around helplessly to find an alternate place of stay.
