The building is very centrally located with great views of sunset, the mountain and city lights! I'm quite picky with towels and hate staying at a place with old, overused towels- this was not the case here. Towels, linens, cutlery, crockery was brand new and amazing! More than enough pillows too! It was also very clean and rooms were serviced every second day which was more than enough. It was very quiet with no street noise or noise from neighbours. There was hairdryer and iron in the room. Shower was amazing too. Water pressure great, and water was hot instantly. Well-sized and so neat and clean. Lovely products for use too. There's a coffee shop downstairs which was great to get our cappuccinos each morning. • I would recommend they place a mirror near a plug point for women to do their hair. They could even move the long mirror in passage to the wall next to kitchen sink so that I could plug the hairdryer/hair straighter in there. I had to use the microwave as a mirror. Some of the male staff working at the residence need to guidance on how to deal with customers in a more eloquent way. We say some unprofessional interactions some days.

All in all my stay was wonderful, walking distance to the waterfront, nearby restaurants and long street. Staff is very friendly and always willing to assist. Room was clean nothing out of place, great views of the Waterfront and the Harbour. The WiFi is fast. I will definitely miss the comfortable bed 😀 In terms of service why I rated it so low, we and other guests kept on reporting on Marijuana smells coming from another apartment right next to ours, to the point where the smells were coming through the air conditioning vents into our room, The Hotel has a strict policy and signs all inside the building that smoking inside the hotel is against the law, the individual was let off with warning upon warning and eventually given a fine, In all honesty the individual broke hotel policy and should be asked to leave but that was not done and does not give a good reflection. But thank you to One Thibault Staff and Security for the great hospitality looking forward to my next stay.

Great experience... My room was very neat, the staff was very friendly, I had troubles with my access card not working initially and the staff made 10000% sure the new card was working, they carried my bags all the way up to my room and ensured I had access to my room. They are extremely friendly and professional. I will be staying here for another month, and look forward to it. I would just recommend more water, after 3 days I only had 2 very small bottles and they did not replace water after the cleaning, but this is minor.

The apartment was clean and adequate. Lovely city view and also a clear view of mountain peaks. Walking distance to waterfront. Wifi very good. No power cuts. Overall, a great stay. Only problem is that the breakfast vouchers are redeemable at a nearby restaurant that tends to have appallingly slow service. So I advise against taking the breakfast option if you can help it.

Our stay at one thibault could have been nice but was spoilt by one hotel staff at the reception. I don't know his name but he was at the reception on 26.12.2023 at around 22.30. It was our second day there and we were new to hotels rules concerning parking. He got frustrated over that and behaved very rudely towards us. We also wanted a second room key card as we got only one upon arrival and they requested us to collect it on our second day but he wouldn't understand that also. Very harsh attitude. The nice ladies at the reception helped us in the morning though. We never found such attitude at any hotel reception. That affected our first stay in cape Town a lot. Will recommend only if that guy won't be at reception again. Other male staff must also be nicer.
