Absolutely beautiful stay , so peaceful, staff were so lovely too. The girl on Friday evening at reception around 5pm was very welcoming, and really lovely how she spoke to us too , food was gorgeous and staff were so nice too .. you will really like staying here if you want a peaceful little break ✨️

Outside is very pretty and definitely looks like a historical site. Grounds are great for morning and evening walks. However, the rooms also look and feel historic. Carpet needs cleaning or to be replaced. The shower didn’t drain properly and the walls are super thin. You will be able to hear anything that happens near your room in the hallway, next door, upstairs, downstairs, etc. Pack your patience and some earplugs.

Lovely quaint hotel in a village area just outside of the city centre. Orton Hall the Manor dates back before 1166. It is situated in Lovely woodland . Private parking, pub, spa, restaurants. Worth a look and a relaxing stay. It's a very old building with usual wear and tear but worth every penny for accommodation.

I came here for a trip with friends, we booked a triple room which came with complimentary robes and bottles of water and biscuits and coffee etc. You have to book the spa to go to it, which seemed odd because we were never told a time to leave. Nice facilities, though. Wonderful sauna and steam room. The bathroom in our room was beautiful, and toiletries were provided. The only downside was that there was a party being held right below our room in a function room outside, so I had to wear earplugs that were uncomfortable, to block the noise of music and people out. The place is a bit of a maze but very nice, lots of areas to relax and chill with a coffee which was quite inviting. Breakfast was amazing, and so delicious, although the coffee could have been improved.

Went for the family fun day / craft fair. Wonderful range of stalls, especially the hair one, my daughter loves her reusable unicorn ponytail. The hotel looks beautiful and very clean with lovely grounds. Drinks a bit pricy (but it is expected at a hotel) and the service was very slow (was waiting 25 minutes for the bar staff to come back - although they were very busy). Would definitely come back to another fun day but not so sure if I would another time - the spa looks nice though so may give that a try 😊
