Very nice hotel with a plenty of options to eat and many indoor and outdoor activities. There are a few things which requires upgrade which is the lift access control system, temperate controlled water in the pool. A great value for money with an excellent view and absolutely kids friendly.

According to the plaque at the entrance, the hotel opened in 2003 and at about 20 years of age, the premises and rooms really show it. It is overall clean and functional, and the staff was polite and diligent. One quirky aspect of the room air conditioning is that the max temp setting is 19C, and the only way I found to turn off the AC is by opening the balcony door, which trips the switch. The location of the hotel is, however, unbeatable, with amazing views from the top of Jebel Hafeet mountain. The hotel itself is a very short drive from the peak, where you can watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There's a resort pool with water slides, and kids were having a great time there all day. There were other facilities catering to kids: mini golf, playground, what seemed like a go-cart track, and other games.

Location and view was awesome however the service was terrible. The room service wont attend any calls and you have to go all the way down. The toilets in common areas were awful. They first gave a non serviceable room where the balcony door didnt get locked. My 3 year old just opened it and we were shocked. Nightmarish stay. Do not book if you expect a pleasant stay.

Arriving at the hotel, the check in was a joke. Was given a room that was already occupied on 4th floor, returned to reception to tell them so, they made a mistake, should have been room 407, not 417. So back up to 407, and couldn’t get into the room, returned to reception once again and was given new key cards and we returned to the room and finally got in on the 3rd time of asking. We were hungry on arrival so went to look for something to eat, one of the restaurants in the hotel served a buffet, it all looked very basic and not appealing. So we went to the restaurant just outside of the hotel, but that was also very basic, dirty and service was poor. The rooms are dated but comfortable and slept good in the bed, beds and linens very clean. In the morning we went to have breakfast in the hotel, and try the hot buffet, but everything in the hot plates were cold. The only thing that was hot was the bread I toasted and my coffee, very disappointing. Upon complaining to reception about all our experiences, they didn’t charge us for breakfast. Overall it was not nice, I overpaid for 2 rooms. One of which our friends couldn’t sleep as AC didn’t work.
