I am not complain about anything, just share the real experience. I stay there because of an event. 1. The location is good, very convince; 2. A Starbucks in the lobby, but not working for the Starbucks points system; 3. I like the restaurant in the lobby, had my lunch and dinner there. Good ingredients. 4. For the stay experience, just so so. It's only a place for one night sleep. No slippers. The front desk wouldn't try to arrange early check-in. 5. Booked a few days ago but paid much more than usual and more than later. I won't say anything because I booked on another platform. 6. Bed smell with the carpet in some areas. Such as, in the front of elevators. 7. They were told me my room would face the parliament, but the result not like that. It is good for business stay.

I came to Ottawa for a conference at the Marriott Ottawa. From the time I arrived, I never before in Canada have received such amazing customer service and care from a hotel team. The staff at this hotel were outstanding!!!! The food at the conference was quite tasty and I ate at their lobby restaurant SPIN several times. The portions were huge and the food was amazing. The serving staff also, fantastic! The hotel is a little dated and needs some decor upgrades, but the location is great! Congrats to the management team on their excellent hiring practices. Very few of your competitors offer the same type of service that your team provides. Thank you!

Almost perfect. Eugene was the highlight of my trip. I am from America and this was my first time in Canada. He was very informative and helpful the entire trip. The restaurant had good food in the hotel. Probably my only complaint was the main bartender was slow at times when me and other people were waiting for drinks or our bill when he was putting away alcohol or kinda not really paying attention at all. But it did get better and the same waiter was more attentive later in the week. Overall I am happy with my stay and would stay here again. The friendliness of the crew really made it worth the stay.

Absolutely a two star at best. No 24 hr room service. No minibar in the room. Not sure what you are paying for? Parking location is difficult. The room we had, while a nice view is tired...many dents and scratches on the furniture. Bathroom is old but was clean. The restaurant downstairs was extremely understaffed resulting in us having to wait for more than 45 minutes to get a table for breakfast (most people use left) - but once we got to the breakfast area it was excellent as was our server who had been working there for 30+ years. I think you can do far better for a reported 4* hotel. Definitely not a highlight of the Marriott chain.

It’s a traditional, elegant, and decent Marriott in Captial City of Canada. Very good location in the core area of the downtown Ottawa. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The Club Lounge has an incredible view and the service was excellent. The lady was so amiable and like my grandmother! So appreciative to her great service. Forgive me for being picky if the front desk could do a better way to communicate with the client if there is an unachievable request, that would make everything perfectly! Highly recommended!
