This hotel apartment is very convenient and accommodating. It’s pretty close to a shopping mall called Continent, which has all grocery needs, clothing stores as well as a food court with variety of foods. Also, it is very close to the beaches and old downtown Albufeira. The staff are nice, the cleaning staff don’t know much English, but they do their bests to understand and make you understood. They clean the room everyday , which is great. There is an option of cooking as all the pots, pans, knife, forks are available to use. If I go back to Albufeira, which I hope I do, I will definitely book this hotel apartment. In the lobby there is a bookshelf, where there is different books in Portuguese and English and you can annoy reading those books. The only thing that was missing was they did not have any kids books in that book shelf.

Lovely clean place but you don't get the sun on the balcony as facing wrong. You either get a couple of hrs in the morning or couple in the afternoon. All in all not a bad place but to many rules

Friendly welcome on arrival we had a ground floor room overlooking the carpark - which for only a few days was ok but if we’d been staying longer we would have asked to change. Spacious and with everything we needed (although if the bath plug is missing just ask at reception). Situated on a busy roundabout another guest commented on the traffic noise but as our visit was winter time we neither used the balcony or had the doors open. Supplied lovely linen,plenty of soft white towels and kitchen utensils etc Just a short walk to top of the ‘strip’ although not too near for noise disturbances. A straight downhill walk to the terminus and the escalators, Pescadores beach and old town square. Our favourite mini golf across the road from Bora Bora which is around the corner. Access to reception and pool area is own ‘underground’ then backup again which if you’re dodgy on your feet (like me) could be an issue. Although it is a bit run down all in all we enjoyed our few days at Ourabay.
