Excellent experience due to the high standards they have. Noisy due to the small size. With earplugs I had no problems. Rooms are indeed small, although, well equipped and extremely clean. Comfy mattress with mattress protection. Everywhere you look across the hotel is clean and a cozy atmosphere which is due to their standards. The hotel is old and has a vintage and classy vibe, including the furniture, however, well maintained. Breakfast is decent, although not diversified enough, very pricey. The coffee machine is entry level, although free.

This is an amazing hotel very well located with so many attractive places near, including the famous Vondelpark that is behind the hotel. We done all our tours by foot, because his excelent location. Everything was perfect, since the reception service until the room service. I really recommend this hotel to stay in Amsterdam.

Staff are very friendly and helpful -thank you. Cleaning person does an amazing job in that room was very clean when I checked in. Toilet and shower is modern. My negatives sadly are that the room I was in, 4th floor, smallest room, REALLY needs a revamp - it's like entering the 1970s. So despite it being clean, there's only so much you can clean a very dated room. Plus soundproofing was poor, I could hear the lady next room or below clearly chatting away till past 11pm :( Sadly, for all reasons stated, my room wasn't to my liking as a result. To the management, when you can, please refurbish your rooms and hallways. And if you can, please supply a mini kettle and slippers. Location is great, frequent trams 2, and 12 nearby takes you to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Also bus to airport 397 (?) leaves from 100m away so very convenient. The hotel looks nice from the outside (photo attached) and is in a nice locality. Perhaps the other rooms are much nicer.

I would not stay here again. We paid €200 for one night in a tiny hotel room and we expected more than this. From the pictures we could tell it was a hotel in a vintage style, but most parts of the hotel look like they have not seen maintenance since the 70s. Our room was very small, tv barely worked, and the walls were so thin you can hear any sound made by neighbours. The bathtub and other surfaces were technically cleaned, but after so many years of intensive use it will never look 100% clean.
