We went to this hotel based on all the 5 star reviews , every one seemed to say such positive things we though, no brainer! No risk at all. The best way I can describe this hotel is faded Splendor . We asked to check out as soon as we moved in . They wouldn’t let us check out , so we had to stay. The first room we stayed in had no head board , bathroom was old and shabby , and the mattress was hard and cheap feeling . They moved us to an upgraded room. It was a very big room, this time with a head board . However it was still shabby with a grotty bathroom. The decor is old fashioned and the rooms are dusty. The owner would not give us a refund, even though we said how unhappy we were , so we had to stay the three days . The shower had hardly any power , cheap bedding . Definitely not a real 5 star. They are also tight with the pool towels ,you are only allowed one, which doesn’t cover your sun bed properly . The staff were nice . Because it was such a bad hotel , we decided to extend our hotel and book into a nice hotel with fresh bathrooms, and nice beds , so we could have a good experience . For the price of the Palais Rhoul, you can find much much better in Marrakesh, cleaner and fresher . I would vote against this hotel .

We came here on a day pass, which includes lunch. The Palais Rhoul can not be faulted. The sunbeds are big enough for two, the service is definitely 5 star and the lunch was amazing. I would recommend a visit to enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

We had their most expensive luxury suite with breakfast included and they made us pay for a 2nd orange juice!

Today my booking that was already confirmed since May 22, and payed, was canceled without any justification, 3 days before my check-in. I had everything planed according to my stay there, even the transfers. This is very unprofessional and the hotel didn't even take the time to give me any personal justification, when above all I was looking forward to stay there. Shame on Palais Rhoul! I'm extremely disappointed with this treatment. For this, I wouldn´t recomend to anyone this hotel!
