I really like an environment, facilities, great staff and I can say if you are looking for a place far from city and for relaxing, is it a place to stay. I really enjoy the pool, breakfast, clean room and tennis court. It is 15 minutes away from Coimbra in Portugal. We stayed two days in this hotel and we didn’t need to go any where else just stay in hotel and enjoyed the facilities in Hotel. Also great for families.

Nice place for a relaxing weekend, José at the front desk was very cooperative and the remaining reception team were welcoming. Continental Breakfast is very convenient loved the bakery station . The indoor pool is not available and there isn't a jacuzzi so you can't call it a spa. Overall experience was alright and will definitely recommend it.

The only downside is the personnel at the reception, not very useful and not professional at all. They expect you to do their job instead of researching your details and be quick on their thinking and feet. Also, it could use bigger glasses in the restaurant and rooms as well as having paper towels in the rooms. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay at and relax by the pool, with amazing views and conditions. The beds and mattresses are super comfortable! The rest of the staff is amazing. Also amazing breakfast buffet! Very well made and presented with a great food quality and variety!

We stayed at the Palacio Sao Sebastian in the middle of a national emergency (heatwave + forest fires) after leaving more rustic accommodations without air conditioning. We booked this particular hotel in order to have a few comfortable nights sleep before leaving Portugal. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our rooms was broken which unfortunately really impacted the comfort of our stay. The front desk did offer us another room, with a bigger window, but noted the air conditioning also wasn’t working in that room. So instead we just accepted the fan they brought us. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was nicely furnished and the decor was a bit “traditional” for our tastes but everything was in excellent condition. The pool area was a highlight, though it could’ve been cleaned a bit more frequently, as there was often dirty glassware and garbage on all the tables/lounge areas. The poolside bar also closed a bit early (18:00). But overall I think it would’ve been a great stay if the air conditioning was working.
